1 Tank > 8 man kill feed
ALWAYS kill the tank..........
CCP if you nerf the OB due to nerd tears and destroyed tanks...........
Half these tanks can take a direct OB blast, so I am not understanding the problem here 0o |

If it is all about skill, why do tank drivers hurry to take out installations?

As HAV driver here's what goes through my mind on installations, I have 16 opposing enemys to worry about. At any time anyone of them can pull out swarms or forge gun. Any one could have AV grenades, anyone could drop a tank or more. I blow up all installations, even the friendly ones before they are captured. I don't want a blue turret to turn red as a nasty surprise when I know I can eliminate the threat first, then worry about the other 16 enemys and not the auto aim, perfect shot installations. If all were left alive and my team captured them all, that would turn the tide of the battle as well. HAV won't risk team incompetence during a pub match.

Trying to be as humble and honest as I can. If a squad earns a OB, they should always put it on the biggest threat, or to clear a area for the capp. I always put my OB on the tank, but than again, I try not to play ambush due to the amount of tanks, and how fast the rounds are. By the time you get in good position to engage a tank or get a OB, the round is half way over. |

ohh, than I say, drop all orbitals on the tanks :) no offense, it should be mandatory doctrine that every corp follows. I just have a thing about blowing ish up, and when I see a tank, i love breaking the AV out, kinda like hunting and chasing bow legged women 0o |

Tanks are not that bad, the ones I drop OB's on are the cliff hanger snipers. You are correct about AV, if used right, it can and will be a tank drivers worst nightmare.
I was actually thinking, what about flares on vehicles that can be deployed to eliminate the lock of swarms? only get 1 or 2 per vehicle that can not be replinished. |

I truly believe that alot of us have the mentality that we want to destroy the tank, so we hunt it down. The people that complain about the tank, is the ones that have not got the stop, drop and roll mentality, which requires you to stop what you are doing, drop the me me me attitude, and help the team destroy the tank...NOW!
once that is accomplished, than I will have major sympathy for tank drivers, but I see that no time soon. |
