Contacts are organised alphabetically ... by the last 3 letters of their surname spliced with the middle 2 letters of the first name and preceded by the bottom number of the square root of your date of birth rounded to the nearest 6.
I can't see how you people are having problems searching when CCP have made it this simple for you ... I guess it's just another thing you want adding to the nerf list is it ? |

I actually found out how the list is sorted the other day, never really gave it much thought before that.
It's sorted by the date people created their account in Dust. So the higher on the list he is, the longer he has played Dust.
But compared to an alphabetised list? Gimme alphabet! |

Someone told me that a long time ago, but I don't think it's right ... I've got some new since open beta players towards the top and some I've known since early builds of closed beta are further down the list.
I haven't given it much thought either, but it just doesn't seem right in my list. |
