That's what happened in a random ambush game today. The enemy team dropped 6 Mads (2 at a time) and lost 5 of them during the match. I was the first to switch to an AV suit to combat them, but I couldn't deal enough damage to actually force them to retreat. A couple minutes later, the presence of Allied AV gear appeared, and these tanks started to drop like flies.
The only thing I got pissed over was the fact that I did not get a single point in helping in the take down of these tanks. I did everything I ould to help destroy them. Spamming AVD swarms like mad, and making every hit. Throwing AV nades When I ran out of swarms. But for some reason, even-though i did not make the killing blow, I wasn't even awarded the assist points for my efforts.
Which annoyed me to hell at the end of the match. It made it look like I did absolutely nothing to contribute to their destruction. :(
I want vehicle damage points back. |

I want vehicle damage points back.
There's an issue here.
Sometimes my brother will get the destruction for vehicle and kills, sometimes nothing, sometimes I will get the kill but get destruction assist points.
Its been very buggy,
Or he'll get the kill and final shot, I get assist, he gets 0 points. |

What pisses me off is the fact that the "fire" my AV equipment causes does not give me the appropriate kills/assists/WP. Which I feel is BS. The "fire" should indeed cause damage to the vechicles but should not take away points from the player. |

Idk fire doesn't hurt eve ships while they burn......fire in space, who knew?
And even now in days we have equipment capable of auto putting out fires.
Your telling me 10's of 1000's of years into the future they can't put out a fire?
Its called a water bucket, can I get a water bucket module plox?
No, I don't think tank burn should damage the tank.

I can top this.
Was happily flying my Myron when a forge gunner obviously got jealous of my happiness and freedom and blew me up. I received negative 90 WP. Negative 90. For someone else destroying my own dropship.
Does CCP WANT HTFU to become their slogan? Because at this rate, I'm going to be in tears. |

oh god I forgot about "damage" points, yes please, you used to get good points for killing turrets and stuff cause you would get like like 50 for damaging it and 100 for killing or something... |

Because our dropsuits worth 100s of thousands of isk in some cases shouldn't have fire proofing...

I've lost out on WPs for tank damage too. Working as intended (delayed assist timer), but I've softened a few tough tanks so a random dude can toss one AV grenade after the bugger hauls kitten to the other side of the map.  |

There is air inside the ship, allowing it to burn until it runs out or they shut down life support, not to mention it might have ruptured any Air tanks.
Ever watched a rocket fly into space or the shuttle ? It has fire coming out of its backend propulsion nozzles....

Its not actually damaging the tank itself, it is however eating at every wiring tube, computer system inside the tank and also heating up the tank that stores fuel, up to a point it bursts from the pressure = Explosion.
I doubt there will be piston diesel engines inside the tank.... |
