The next build is going to make or break it for me.
I've been here since build 1 of closed beta.
We know this isn't the full version but progression has been very slow.
Yes devs have a weekly feedback, however, they say things like
Looking into redline abuse, the next week its something else with 0 updates of what they discussed for redline abuse.
1 year later and we haven't even seen 90% of the things said they would be fixing.
We get hardly any real feedback and if they did implement something we suggested or that we want balanced more, they do their own thing hoping its right without working along side the community to balance things out.
We've been lacked in content for a year, I mean really? 1 year and very little has changed.
This game has great potential.
If it doesn't speed up by the time ps4 gets on market then it will flop.
Psn players are not like PC players, once something flops the player base is dead and stays so.
There needs to be more content and need for Corp battles than just fame and glory.
Market trading needs to be open,
Terrain bugs need fixed,
Graphics need smoothed,
DS's need their WP's,
AV vs Vehicles need fixed,
Large missile turrets need fixed,
Railguns need to be more effective,
AR's need their internal tier system reworked for dps and recoil between militia and proto,
LR needs skills to work and be applied,
AV grenades need reworked,
Swarms need reworked,
Hit detection needs improvement,
These are just a few thing in a long list that a year hasn't been solved and slowly moves forward, though moving backwards faster then forward
I totally agree with pretty much everything that you say.The lack of content and polish for a game that's been in development for this long is teetering on unacceptable, mainly because of the lack of communication to the players from CCP.
The more and more I think about it,the more I'm of the realization that this game will never be finished for the PS3.I would bet almost anything that CCP has the dev tools for PS4,and are maximizing it for the new console.I'm thinking that we are just lab rats testing that most basic systems so that they can just easily transfer that data into the PS4.
As slowly as this game is moving into becoming a full release, that's the only thing that really makes any sense at this point. The progression of development is just taking way too long for anything else other than they just don't know what the hell they are doing,to be the case.

I thought this too, until I found out CCP is not registered for development with Sony for any PS4 porting ect.
So technically atm, they can't be using tools for it.
Just curious, but where would you find this information? I know that Sony had a big screen of devs that they showed during last Wednesday's press conference, but I'm not sure that just because CCP wasn't listed necessarily means that they don't have the dev tools for PS4.
On the other hand,to play my own devil's advocate, even though CCP has clearly stated that they have plans to bring Dust to the PS4,that doesn't necessarily mean that Sony is ready for them to bring the game to the next gen console. If that truly is the case, then it's obvious that Sony is taking a wait and see approach of how Dust will do on the PS3.In that case, they really need to get their **** together, otherwise this game is doomed to an outdated console that will never be able to handle the full scope of what Dust 514 is going to demand.
