And yes I hate the "its a beta" excuse, just cause its a beta doesnt mean that it has to be poorly done, thats what alphas are for, kid.

Ill keep it simple, if your car build der told you that they are "fixing details" on said car but when you check it out theiy dont even have the body ready and the engine halfway oh and no deadline? I think I have the right to be pissed as many many people.
Another thing, if they told us that x,y and z features would be on the next build but for some reason Y got scrapped, yes people would question it but if the deves provides a legitimate and beliviable reason explain said scrap I think the comunity would be ok with it, or request that Y be on the build after that one if its a great feature that should be in the game, like lets say.. player market for example.
Of course for the newberry who just got on the forums and started to play after the NDA is released its ******* easy to say "give it time its a beta STFU" yeah tell that to the people who had been playtesting this game for over a year "Its easy to donate when your pockets are full". |

And I have been here for a year, I left for a while and played borderlands for a good month, then I realized this game has bugs, this game has cheaters, this game doesn't have the legendary weapons I was promised. Then I played black ops and it froze constantly, had bugs, cheats, etc. Then I realized I paid 60 dollars for these games and dust asked nothing of me and gave me the same if not better experience.

Trust me if they **** up enough times to just level this game to scrap status, ill leave and wont come back as many, MANY people. Or just when my interest on the game flounders, whichever comes first. |

I see your opinion and I respect it. I know this is the same excuse used over and over again, but c'mon, it's a beta. We're lucky that we even get a chance to play it... For free. If you want to compare this to a release of a full retail game, I suggest you wait until the game is out of beta.
A beta with 3+ years of planning and almost a year of testing... that still feels like an alpha 0.7.
Yes it is free but so are mmos and they still get trashed if their core mechanincs fail to deliver.
Just adding the counterpoint to it.
