So every time I see a heavy in front of me I try to run away like a ***** as fast as possible. I've learned to not go 1vs1 with a heavy since it's always an insta-death. It got me thinking how to make these guys feel fear instead. I remember a funny moment where I was shooting at a heavy with a laser rifle. Shields down in less than a second, the armor was draining slowly, and he began to jump when HP got low. The jumps were very short, good laugh. He must have felt fear. Post builds or situations that can make a heavy **** their pants. I'm currently working on a LR glass cannon:

 -Assault Type 2
 -Laser Rifle
 -Assault Scrambler Pistol
 -Complex Light Damage Mods
 -Armor Repairer
 -CPU
 -Grenades
 -Nanohive

Once I get the damage mods will start working to get a Viziam.

Take it from an LR guy,

With viziam don't even worry about damage mods, no reason to be a glass cannon.

Viziam at max heat gets a 3-400 more alpha damage then the elm.

You will instantly melt a heavy.

Only use damage mods on viziam if you don't want to waste ammo on heat build and just start shooting.

Grenades & head shots. That combo works near about every time in a 1v1 with some cover to hide behind while you cook the grenade. I had a heavy chase me around a supply depot for about 30 seconds before I remembered to do this; after I did , the heavy wasn't chasing me anymore.

Concured. With a laser you need to be standing aiming a constant beam over a period of time. This makes you vulnerable to incoming fire, so shield extenders are more useful. Even the standard laser does great damage to heavies, so long as you get them from a distance, so you certainly don't need damage mods on the viziam.

I remember one game I was running a really hot no-death streak when I was almost out of ammo and ran smack into a heavy. I thought I was gonna get geeked for sure, headed for the big iron in the sky. but then I jumped behind a barrier and shouted "You're adopted!"

 works everytime.

I never want to scare anyone. If you scare them they run away and start playing smart. I want them to feel ultra confident, walk into battle, and never know how or why I was able to kill them first.

Heavies always feel so confident facing off against people with assault rifles, and if I am in a suit with enough protection I can stare them down and just shoot them in the face before they kill me.

There is a lot of psychological warfare at any given point on the battlefield. I think fear is the worst emotion to give your enemies. Overconfidence is better, because it will lead them right into your trap.

highly agree.. hold fire, let them build confidence, take random poorly aimed pot shots with sidearm to lure them into prefered terrain and then let loose with MD..

not everyone falls for it tho some heavies are disciplined to not over extend into ambushes
