I know they were tweaking the matchmaking a bit this past weekend, but I did not see a dev post that there were any permanent changes made. There is absolutely zero competitive balance in the matchmaking 90% of the time. I just left another ambush, like so many other ambushes and skirmishes I join, where 2 or 3 good corp squads are matched up against a team entirely made up of random blue dots. Something has to give, because the current system is not working and makes the game feel like just another grind. It's not fun regardless of which side you are on. |

I don't know. It felt like I was finally battling against more experienced players and less against blueberries. The system is working for me. I don't know about you. |

when i am in a squad I see lots of other squads on the other side. When I run solo I see lots of solo or npc corp players on the other side. To me this is a big step forward and am happy with it. While I still farm scrubs its more of a challenge then a bunch of red newberries

This is true, I just feel sorry for the few randoms that get put in the squad heavy matches, that includes myself more often then naught  |

I didn't see huge problems with it, we still came up against randoms when we were running squads but we seemed to across corp squads like the pink fluffy's, imperfects, OSG etc more often as well |

huuuuuge difference between disliking a challenge, and disliking being redlined every game/stomped out by 50 clones in ambush. |

redlined? unredline your team! take the long way around, find a safe spot near an objective. (preferably some high ground)
Drop an uplink so people can start spawning there. Once people start spawning flank the nearest objective!
This has been done and it can work!
Also if you notice that someone is spawn camping your uplink and getting free kills you can always drop more uplinks and your old ones will be erased. That way you can prevent deaths and you can find another safe spot for spawns.
as far as ambush is concerned. you cannot win everygame. You are playing with randoms. People in corps usually stick together and create a defensive perimeter or they are just running around watching each others backs. So when I am alone, I try to do the same thing and stick near the group . I dont try to run off solo and kill everything on my own. sure my k/d might not be as epicly as high as I get alot of assists going in a group but at the same time I die less and my k/d is still positive. |

I've seen a few massively lopsided ambush matches since yesterday but most of the one's I've been in since yesterday have actually been pretty tight. Both teams losing clones at nearly the same rate most of the match and games ending with the winning team having 5-20ish clones left. Actually had a match that ended at 0/0 but the team (mine) that hit zero first still lost. |

This has been my experience as well with skirmish maps. Even more so with my 843 boot camp corp toon, which is a low level trainer. I'm liking the new sorting. |
