Indeed, but we've been told that there would be nothing new. Still, it's always good to keep up to date with the latest discussions, even if it's only to further confirm what's already known. |

Gotta love CCP.
Delays minutes because they were carefully applying the NDA scalpel so the minutes contained juicy information without going into to much detail...

I read the whole section on Dust and found it lacking, sorry but I do.
Star map linking us to New Eden is sorta must have in this game anyways, I think we all knew this should have happened when we went to TQ, not months from now. Please don't say "This is beta", we are on TQ and in New Eden and we are actively playing characters that will be there for years to come. How long will players wait before they get bored ....
"eventually EVE players will be able to place contracts that can be accepted by Dust mercs..." Again this is something that should be here but wont be for 5-6 months.
Just to prove I'm not a downer on everything, I think this is great:
"... smaller content uploads that don't require Sony approval... new maps and new weapons and new game modes .. between the major releases."
But been there and heard that before, yet we are on day 66 of not getting any of these updates. How long will players wait before they get bored of doing two styles of play and 3 small maps. Having no actual influence in the universe.
"...the designs that are currently in place regarding low sec would start to be phased in." Again day 66, two major holidays and all while players are dwindling and reviews are negative.
I can tell you that the next update will be the make it or break it point for MANY players. We know the next update is 4-5 weeks away from IRC comments, that is a grand total of 90 to 100 days between updates. (so much for fast little updates between major updates).
One way to counter this would be to be more open with the player base, get on the PR bandwagon and stop trying to slow the momentum of Dust mercs trying to band together for common causes like tournaments, Dust CSM. The more you take away or don't provide the player base even at this early stage means that many more players that will leave.
Ill stop now but like I said disappointed in this minute hack job and finding CCP lacking.
I want to be a CCP/New Eden/Evetard/Dustryhard but I can't until CCP makes something good enough.

I actually think we should be looking to move to have our own council that Dusters elect and have ambassadors as go betweens.
Steps are actually being taken as we speak by several members in the community to set up the white papers for a Council of Planetary Management. That said, having councilors that play Dust and Eve will be important in the future. |

Yeah...CCP write those, not the community.
A CPM is important, but it has to come from CCP. When will they decide it's necessary? Never if we don't push it very publicly. |
