Hello, I am thinking about using KB/M for DUST as I am noticing that I am over compensating with the controller and hope that this will help me with that. That said, I have two questions concerning this: 1. Does the relative DPI of the mouse affect aiming or turning in the game? Or are they hardlocked into the suit and Modules? 2. What are peoples recommendations for KB/M combinations?
Thanks for your help! |

not at all true, i use a Steel Series Sensei that has custom settings stored within the mouse so i can rapidly change my dpi when needed, really helps to be more percise for the longer shots or to be able to move around fast during the close range fights

You're most likely going to be unable to buy a NKRO bluetooth kb, so just go with whatever. The ones that are 3kro or 6kro are most likely not RFDG, so...
For a mouse, high dpi does change turn speed. If I'm on foot and using a mouse instead of a controller, I use the best mouse ever made, WMO 1.1a
I recently got a razer deathadder and i use it for tanking. it's meh. I do not believe it's as good as the WMO for infantry.
You shouldn't need to spend a ton of $ on anything. You should just stay away from high dpi laser mice. Laser <<<<< optical for FPS. You can get away with it for MMOs and SC2 because it doesn't need to be as precise, but for a FPS... You also don't need 10,000 buttons on your mouse to shoot a gun. You're shooting a gun, not throwing lightning bolts. |

I don't know much about mice. Does this wmo have programmable buttons with scripting eg. Left-50ms-Right in one click, on mouse memory? |

I use a Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional II and R.A.T. 7.
The keyboard is small so doesn't take much space and has a mini-USB port for the cable so it's really easy to plug in the dual shock's cable. With the mouse connected to the keyboards USB hub, switching everything over to the ps3 is really easy.
Though it costs $300 so perhaps not for everyone. |

No, it is a quality, rice-free mouse with the ability to 'overclock' the poll rate via drivers.
I'd consider it the Model-M of mice |
