Because you're judging its performance based on pubs. Running into noobs using Standard suits vs a heavy using Standard HMG's.
Range is debatable, but against any B- series assault, it tickles. Unless he's standing still or already ripped.
Militia Heavy >>> Militia Assault
Standard Heavy > Standard Assault
Advanced Heavy < Advanced Assault
Proto Heavy <<<< Proto Assault
And in corp matches, these days, you see more advanced / proto Assault equipment, so heavies are slowly becoming useless.
Strangely enough, for a Proto Heavy to be weaker against a Proto Assault he has to spend WAY more ISK than the Assault guy. Funny logic there, yet people are calling for more nerfs.
Edit: When more people start using Advanced and Proto equipment in pubs, you'll see allot less threads QQ'ing about heavies. |

KB+M amplifies this. I'll have sensitivity on max and it's still extremely slow. Using a KB+M apparently makes moving quicker. Strafing, turning, even making vehicles move quicker.
Obviously a glitch, but who knows when it'll be fixed. |

yea pretty much this. It hits at range, but it doesn't do much dmg.
I'm hoping for a suit buff and actually see a difference in standard suits compared to proto suits, and not just the difference in CPU suit color, literally a couple extra slots and the HUGE difference in price.
