Why do blasters get a max range efficiency against a turret installation of 40%? Same for why do small blasters have a max efficiency against other vehicles of 40%? => Were you far from your target ? Blasters have a short range compared to other turrets. And if you fall below optimal, efficiency drops.
Are certain areas of vehicles more vulnerable, the way headshots deal more damage? => The back is supposed to be more vulnerable but never checked for an actual multiplier
Finally do you have to look at a vehicle with your main turret in order to lock it for the purpose of remote reps? If so is there a way to/possibility for a way to auto lock a previously locked target as soon as it comes in range. This would allow you to lock an HAV with your tank and start repping it then break range and do your own thing or sweep a corner and then immediately begin locking them again when they re-enter range without the need of wasting turret time looking at them and back. => Dunno

Bottom line, here's another good thread that shows once more to CCP that STATS MATTERS
EVE has EVERY bit of information about EVERY items in the game cause they are important. How is it possible for a game like DUST to not give damages for AV nades against vehicles, not giving optimal and max range for weapons (especially laser), not showing updated DPS and damage per bullet in the fitting screen, Headshot bonus damage, efficiency against shield\armor multiplier etc... |
