Version 0.7 So much of this game FEELS like experimentation on CCPs part. Every build the game has changed, sometimes drastically, right? So why do you guys get so worked up over stuff when this is not how the final game will be? We should be exploring the different mechanics and enjoying the chance to play with other cool people. Nothing matters until launch and full interaction with Eve. Just go have fun!
Can't wait for next build though! Minmatar Assault suit / tanks! |

This is a beta but many do not realize that. Its good that people give their opinions and feedback but they can also do so without all the QQ. |

Think it's the fact the only answer we get is "Soon". Heard before Fanfest which would have them releasing new stuff around Late March to mid April. |

There is an air of... entitlement to much of the complaints I hear about this game. We NEED to provide feedback, but we need to do it maturely, without any emotional investment. This game is fun in it's own right, and the little experiments that CCP runs with balancing, mechanics, and stuff don't really get in the way. No corp battle matters much other than just our natural gamer inclination towards competition and **** talking. Even worrying about balancing right now without all the gear in the game is kinda... presumptuous. Don't count your chickens til they are hatched. |

I've been a part of alphas and betas (closed & open) for quite a few AAA titles and this is a strange open beta if there is still heaps of content and features to be rolled out.
An open beta should be your final bug hunt and balance tweak. If this is all that there is then - wow. So long in development for this?
No doubt CCP make a nice space MMO, but is this just inexperience calling this an "open beta"? |

This game is always changing weekly updates new builds free dlc stuff like that, look at how much eve progressed in 10 years. |

I doubt there is a open or closed beta handbook every company uses with everything explained in step by step application.
Truth is there has never been an Space MMO being linked to another FPS MMO, sad truth is that most new MMO's cant hack it and sink instead of swim because of this newest generation of self entitled *sshats wanting everything polished yesterday with enough content to fill 5 years worth of playtime that is hard, but not too hard to bruise their ego's.
Ohyea, and they want it to be free and everyone else that pays to support the game are P2W and should die. |

Well beta or no beta there are fundamental issues thats wrong with the game going for 8 months that hasn't been fixed yet, like the can't reload bug, dropping out of game issues, the coms not working issues and many more I'm sure.
These are very basic issues, and we have to wonder why it has taken 8 months to not fix them? Or indeed, why put a game foreward to open beta when its so bad?
Its frustraiting to put in our own money both in terms of boosters and AUR items, and then having them "robbed" from us because the game can't handle a simple feature like reloading my gun. Too many times have I died due to "the game killing me", and its getting old.
Another reason for keeping the QQ up is that there will be no further resets, making my "unwarranted" deaths extra irritating. CCP makes more money out of me than they should.
CCP's lack of feedback on these basic issues is worrying, they seem more eager to bring more content into the game than getting what we already have to run properly. |
