Well wow shows how big of pusy some people are. Just went against someone who brags to his fellow corp how he is the best tanker around. That no one can beat him and he has the most skill. Then when i get into the same match as him he backs out in the beginning to avoid fighting me. It really shows the lack of skill and the fear of facing someone who actually could be better then him.

I lack respect for these people. did you kill his/her tank and they leave or did they back out before the match?
Sometimes people need to leave for other reasons like a squad mate did not get pulled in or RL rather than seeing you and running in fear.

He has done this before. too. So not random it is when he sees the challenge he is backing out. I have seen lot of others do this alot last build also. It is not like he is randomly backing out on accident.
Thing that gets me is I have played with his corp mates and they told me how much he brags about his tank skills and that he is the best tanker out there because of his rank. Show a little balls if your so good is what I say. :P I want action I want a good tank fight. Playing against scrubbs with militant AV bores me so no i am running around running over people in a LAV. My KD will not be as good as other good tankers because of it but that does not matter when I know I will win the tank fight. :). |

I had him and his 4 man squad on my team just yesterday. Him and another guy from his squad pulled out the instant it became obvious we were going to lose. It's not the first time I've seen him do it either. Mad respect for the guys who decided to stay though. |

ummm, maybe they found out a squad mate de-synced and therefore left the game to pick them back up again?? or perhaps their system froze?? I mean to be perfectly honest i dont recognize your name at all, and while you might not recognize me either i can gaurantee that if i dont know who you are, its unlikely anyone else would have known who you were either. Of course i dont play the game as much as some people so i could be wrong, but personally when i see someone from the imperfects on the other team i try my best to compete with them, not back out and ect ect...
Point is that you should think about all the possibilities before you go making threads about how the other person "pussed out", especially if your not even going to give a name out, or bring up some sort of alternative "proof" to back up your claim. |

Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps said player recognized your skill at AV and does not wish to possibly lose a tank to someone in their own corp? We have a rule that if 2 squads of ours get into the same game on opposing teams, the defenders back out, or we check names before we fire so as to not waste our own corp mates drop suits or vehicles. Leaving a game does not always signify fear of something.

CHICAGOCUBS4EVER wrote: semperfi1999 wrote: Well I just wanted you to know that this is a very strong possibility....especially with moon. I wont try to defend everyone who leaves a game although I dont know the reason. Usually the squad I am in wont leave a game unless we are missing a member in the game or something else happens. I have never left due to who we were fighting against. I can also vouch that I have never seen moon leave a match because of bad play (it happens to all of us at times) or because of who we were facing. Does this mean he never has....no but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when I have never seen them do this after playing with them alot.
Its the same as when I see someone leave on the other team against imperfects. I dont think anything of it unless I see the same corp/people leave constantly when we are facing them. After about the 5-6th game that I see this I tend to think it has more to do with not wanting to face us then it does to issues on their end.
+1 couldnt agree more bro. I"ll back out in the lobby if a squad member doesnt get in, but that is done before i ever see who is in there. the only other time ill leave is when i start a match and BAM framerate.. sorry but I wont ever suffer thru that again. but ive never gotten booted at the end of a game however, can't say it couldnt happen.
Although I dont even get upset when the same people back out over and over again...many of which sadly are in and affiliated your corp. Do I care? nope. Honestly I see it as a compliment. No need to even play and lose your tanks or whatever excuse they wanna use. fine with me. Lots of people out there that arent afraid of a fight, and im always happy to give them my best
ME: THANKYOU. Jeez. glad to hear some people realize that sometimes a squadmate didnt load into the match, or someone dc'd, or a squad of 3 went into a match JUST to see a beast teammate log on and say "lfs" on comms. So you drop the match, pick em up, and load into another one. Good God man, some people are freakin full of them selves.... o_O |

Tanks are expensive and not everyone is willing to put their ISK where their mouth is. Further, some people begin to assume they are awesome tankers because they play a few pub matches against random blues and meet little to no resistance; makes them feel like they are pretty good.
Throw in an organized, well specced squad that is willing to go tank hunting and the supposedly awesome tankers often cry like little babies. Not true for everyone, but enough to form the stereotype of tankers as whiners. Of course, you know you've got a legitamitely good tanker when he or she calls in a second tank and plays more conservatively, even actively hunting the AV peeps. |

You can only get better by playing against those who know how you play and can exploit your weaknesses. You are forced to change up your playstyle and try new things. Besides, its always a ton of fun to kill your corp-mates.
If you are worrying about losing a few thousand ISK in a match, you need to get better, or stop using your best stuff in Pub Matches. |

"best stuff" in a pub match??? lol!!!
I got asked by a Corp mate if I had something other then basic, militia or starter fits?? whats wrong with militia fits as long as I get more kills then deaths then its ok in my book.
Shooting Corp mates is fun but gets old fast. I much rather shoot YOU and kill your tanks. Nothing personal.

No one is saying DC's don't happen, they happen to everybody. But when It's the same guy constantly doing it, well... things start to look fishy, and not ODTT kinda fishy.
I actually saw an entire SVER squad leave of a match once, at the start of the match before anyone got any kills. No one notable was on the other team, so I assume they just didn't want to play that match. That's understandable. But dudes who conveniently get DC'ed whenever things don't go their way? Yeah, no ones buying it.

I cannot say I've seen you personallly leave but I have seen many of your corp. mates either leave or start sniping behind the redline once they started losing some suits. This is too funny. lol. |

Thats super tryhardy of you, my only rule is I wont want somebody to drop an OB on another PFBHz tanker, (cause OB's are op as hell)
Also PFBHz queue syncs to fight eachother, not back out of match cause they are on the enemy team. (Some times lol CCP matchmaking thinks its a good idea to throw all the squads on the same team and its basically an instant redline, sorry for anyone that had to experience that) |

It's only a recent idea that we have adopted, were bored of fighting each other. If its just our corp on either side with a bunch if randoms, we stay and have some fun killing each other. We aren't worried about losing money, corp pays for all our gear for corp battles anyway. It's a strange courtesy thing for when we are testing new equipment since pub matches are mostly boring redlined anyway. If you hate corps like that, feel free to not join us. As far as the "you need to get better" comment, any time you guys want a corp battle, we could always use the practice/fun. Message cSRT4 in game, or myself (when I'm not working all the time and actually get to play) and we would love to set one up. |

If you look at the team list in the war barge the left side says "Attackers" at the top of the team list, right side team says "Defenders" That's what that means. Easy way to identify who is on what side. |
