I want to make a corp, but i want what most corps lack, strong leadership!!
I figure recruiting people who want to lead, and then giving them responsibility would make them loyal and committed. I want a leaders for the following jobs:
*Heavy/Light Handheld Weapons Officer
*Heavy/Light Vehicle Officer
*Accounting/Finance Officer
*Chief Intelligence/R&D Officer
*Recruit Debriefing/Training Officer
*Judge/Conflict Resolution Officer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I want to cover these areas:
*Map control *Skill point advancement *Skill point use *Isk use/Income *Training for new players *Attack Strategies *Overall Success of each member *Communication ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So If you think you have what it takes to contribute,
Post only Your Main Characters name, then if you have one, your Alts. Post your PlayStation Account Name (ex.Applegamer1) Post what you want to accomplish, and what you bring.
ONLY THE SERIOUS NEED APPLY. |

Or you could join my corporation? I'm only able to play regularly in the weekends, so I really could use a director to run the day to day show in my corp, its also a brand new corp with what I'd like to think of a more serious name for a Private Military Contractor bussines, so we can build it from the ground up. |

Sorry, not unless you plan to change to name, which i doubt, you probably already paid for the corp, and have a few people in it. sorry friend |

I gotta throw in my two cents here because I'm inspired by your approach but discouraged by your information and insight..
Dust has a handful of elite corps out there, saturated with "The skilled players" (which I see this changing more and more as new players join the dust ranks) you can have all the leader ship roles and tactic/training officers you want it's not going to make your corp powerful...
New maybe but not powerful, join the club though there are new corps every day getting an e-peen for their corp name and throwing out "promotions" for such leader ship roles mentioned by yourself and at the same time getting crushed by the competition..
Dust corp roles, as it stands now, will keep the most organized and skilled corps bottlenecked, with the limit of 4man squads, limited corp voice communications due to UVT and the lack of official corp roles.. You should probably focus on building your shooter base first then advance the leadership roles..
I'm by no means trying to troll I was serious with my first statement I admire your post but IMO you should reevaluate your recruitment add if you want to make/create something powerful.. At the end of the day promotions and leadership roles aren't going to give you the complete edge. Although the firepower and the thinking ahead of combat situations that veteran dust/shooter players have will give you the fighting chance over some of the saturated talent as in Dust..
Again this is my opinion and a bit from experience, Ive been struggling to help build a corp since open, at the beginning it was based off of leadership roles and communication tiers (Not by my choice) but the competitive spirit is dying because we only have a handful of skilled shooters in the corp and the other percent is your casual players and your CEO types who want to multitask and mathematically evaluate everything... There is a place and time for leadership you need the comradery and skill first ; )
But anyway you want to swing it good luck!! |

Look, all of these small corps aren't helping anyone. In fact, from an economic standpoint, it plays into the hands of capsuleers. With so many mercenary firms competing for so few contracts, we will be undercutting each other to the point of being paid nearly nothing by the pod pilots. Our best option is to form Alliances in the form of unions and cartels to drive contract fees back up. Better yet, small corps should merge together as this will reduce your competition whilst increasing your own powerbase.
I know you've all shelled out to start up your own corp and you've all had some success at recruitment. I also know that you don't want to just abandon the power of leadership and your investment. But if we don't start merging or buying each other out, the firms that have a head start on us and/or are run by capsuleers will always be at the top. |

That's actually a really good point. How open would you think small corp leaders are to buyouts? |

Well you see Chielo this is where we run into another problem. No one wants to be bought out. They want to be ones who do the buying out. Partly ouf of pride and sentiment for their corp, but also because they want to be known as 'that guy' who was so bad his company got bought out in a videogame. I'm not saying that being bought means you're bad at Dust, oh no, not at all. But there is the possibility of that Stigma being attached. I've approached people about buying out their corps. They flat out don't answer. How would you feel if I tried to buyout your corp? |

You can hire out other corps for training, as there are some dedicated schools out there who train. It helps with resource management.
