Now we are talking this a great idea! Have each corp pick a standing time each week to defend any one who takes the contract.
It would be low enough anyone can take it. But the rewards you suggested are the reason you would want to take the contract.
Edit. Might make sense to add 10% or a numeric isk/sp value for each week a contract is held by one corp incraesing the desire of other corps to come take over that bounty.
Have all of the contracts at 4 different prime times for the major time zones. So not one corp can hold them all without significant troops.
For example U.S 7.pm eastern all 10-20- corp battles are fought at the same time. So no one corp can easily hold all the contracts. Same for the four other major time zones.
This will give reason for larger corps and can introduce a meta game. Deciding who you will fight each week and deciding which players you will leave behind to defend the contracts you have won. |

I would be happy with just normal isk and SP gains, so I could do all corp battles for the SP and isk grind, and fun in general.
I am pretty sure if this was implemented, I would do corp battles tenfold more. |

This is good. Goes along with my idea of planets and districts giving all Corp members who hold them a passive sp and isk gain. |

Tbh i disagree for now, perhaps in future, exemple we RAQC are in the district of imperfect ok, really do you think we have a chance to hold a win? The answer is no. Corp are unbalanced right now some corps need more time to improve and adjust, we are still in beta perhaps after the beta this idea can come back, in fact you have great idea but.... Like i always said imps are too powerfull and you have impswarm and internal error on your side dont answer is not true anybody know that, your idea is good but need to be clarified because this idea can kill the game also |

The balance comes in the fact there battles would be played at the same time. The last I checked the imperfects only have 60 or so mercs, so we can only held so many battles.
Since when is dust balanced anyway lol. |

Good point for balance lol, other exemple,we put a 1 million isk contract tonight, the PFBHZ take it, we know its suppose to be a lost we played because we have taken it at first, the result is simple we are crushed we have seen there tactik and probably try to fix when times come. Not sure our corp member want to play against them or imperfect one time a week exemple, some are casual player and the first thing is to make fun. Obligation to play some contract dont appear to be good because a lot are in development and for now the goal is to maximase fan base. We always play in pub match even if the other team is good np, but the goal is to make fun never forget. |

I understand your delima , but they aren't battles you have to play. So let the corps that do want to enjoy or "make fun."
Also you would be able to take attacking contracts on the corps you felt more capable of winning against. You may not keep them the following week but so it goes.

The tread said they want to have obligated contract, thats im not agree for now, some corp need to solidified in beta and having player who are interested in the game becoming motivated and want play dust because they have fun, with obligated contract now you crush us every week and perhaps we lost a bunch of player because they dont have fun, in future this idea is good but now lets the beta skill some of us please |

That's all good ideas and all. But also possible exploit. If a corp game rewards the winning team with more ISK than the 2 collateral, what will stop a corp to use a bogus opponent, fight some harmless contract and then take the money, with the free extra ? Or to do those fights and wait for the bogus loot after playing full militia fun among fake ennemies ?
Believe me, the lack of incentive to play corp battle is one of the first thing i rant about when that system landed. And as much as i'd love to feel like there's actually a NPC corp hiring me (and thus PAYING ME lol), i think it needs to be exploit free.
An idea, even if less sexy, would be to have the NPC corp reimburse a part of the lost equipment. That bonus ISK would be calculated based on the value of the overall lost items by the team. And it could be capped depending on the collateral (ex: max 1 million reimbursed for a 2 Mill contract).
And then, the reward coming from owning districts will be a way better system as using fake corps will be of no use. |

This will give reason for larger corps and can introduce a meta game. Deciding who you will fight each week and deciding which players you will leave behind to defend the contracts you have won. you could also leave it at 10 contracts and only allow a corp to own 1 contract at a time, thus always guaranteeing that 10 different corps are benefiting.
The only issue I see is that once a few top corps own a contract, they are not likely to lose it.
A possible solution: a few top corps own a contract and get the benefits but do not have motivation to continue fighting because they have their own contract and cannot benefit from winning more...So allow them to challenge others and take away that contract so it becomes a new open contract for two new teams to fight. Now the tops corps will fight each other to sway the balance and not have other corps keeping pace with their increased gain in SP/ISK.
