Have you guys ever played Killzone 3? If you have, then you may have an idea of what I am talking about.
Basically, I want a game that works much like Skirmish, but with the twist of changing the objective of the game depending on either the time limit or the objective having been completed. The usual time for a game such as this is something like an hour r so, but is also the game mode that provided the most EXP in Killzone, so I guess it could work the same for DUST given that players want to quickly reach the cap for the week and they can't normally spend the time to do it in one or two games. Others can just grind ito ut if they want, or maybe the game mode itself could have its own SP cap (not sure about that though).
Objectives: Assassination - Kill a key target in the game. The target has to be within a certain zone with the rest of the map being "red-lined" Ambush - This is the run-of-the-mill TDM. Kill as many as you can to win the bonus war points. Search and Destroy - Same as assassination, but instead focused on taking down a building. Search and Retrieve - Take the enemy's intel from them and bringing it back to base. Capture Objective - This is the current Skirmish mode.
At the end of the battle, the team with the most War Points wins the match (each "mission" gives bonus WP to the team that wins). If they are tied in WP, then the winner goes to the ones with the least clone losses.
I am fairly certain that this has been suggested before, but I wanted to mention it again because I feel that it could be done and also that this game mode would work great in a game like DUST. |

this seems to be a direct copy of the game section 8, randomly throughout the match bonus objectives would appear, each granting a team bonus if successful, escorting a VIP would have the AI VIP guy defend the base he was escorted too, protecting the mobile outpost would have a new mobile outpost for your team. this could be great addition to the standard skirmish mode imo. |

I haven't really played the game Section 8, but from what you say, it does seem like what I am describing from playing Killzone 3, so yeah, pretty much that. |
