Being a redline sniper I get hit by this bug daily. It happens when climbing on hills, usually in some sort of gap between two walls. When the bug hits, I become frozen still and can't move; I hear whooshing wind like I was falling, but looking at the graphics I'm completely still and on ground. I can shoot, but as the game thinks I'm falling, there's a huge sway on the scope, meaning it's practically impossibly to hit anything. The only way out I have been able to find is to open Neocom and pick either "leave battle" or "suicide". Needless to say, it's slightly annoying having to either lose the SP or take hit to KDR..
For all that I can tell the situation will last indefinitely, or until end of battle; you never reach the hypothetical "ground". |

I just had this happen without any hills. I was hacking a railgun installation, obviously on the side that's hardest to snipe, between the installation and small wall of ground - stuck.

i haven't had a total falling glitch but i have had the glitch when you get stuck and then go back and you take fall damage that is annoying when you are trying to climb stuff but yeah i hope they can smooth out the terrain next update the current resistive and active terrain is getting annoying (they should also add grapple hooks :D ) |

I've had this happen as well. It was in the map where there are only rocks. I was trying to get in the space between two of them when I had this happen. I also noticed that I seemed to be invincible while this was happening (grenades and rockets didn't do any damage to me). |

I wish I was invincible :-(. I've been killed while being stuck this way at least once. |

Workaround: Bring in free LAVs until one is dropped close enough to get into. |
