Sniper chilling at a mountain top with a cool beer,picking his targets and keeping a regular eye on that HUD to ensure no one sneaking up on me when suddenly out of nowhere i get a red vehicle blip right on top of my position.
Turn around to stare straight into a Railgun Tank Barrel.
Dude is just staring back at me,probly laughing his ass off at my reaction,then takes a point blank shot and MISSES.
So unquiped to do anything remotely harmful to this behemoth,i decide to deny him the pleasure of my demise and run around to his side,ensuring i keep UNDER his range.When he finaly decides to relocate i make a run for it and jump off the clif behind the safety off debris,meanwhile seeing my companions moving up that mountaintop to take out that fudger.
So funny encounter aside,HOW the hell was that even possible?
There was hardly any raod up there for a tank to try and flank me,let alone he managed to get there without my noticing.
I may not spot EVERYTHING sneaking up on me,but i do think i'd spot a TANK.
Only thing i can come up with would be another scout with a very low scan profile snuck up on me then called in a tank drop to that location instead of just ya know SHOOTING ME.
But that would require a very noticable and LOUD incoming dropship,so...
Anyone? |

Well, if nobody had eyes on that tank it would be kind of invisible in tacnet.
That's what I've been thinking, the radar is crooked/broken somehow. |

Radar only works currently on site, active scanners when they work properly (informed they are broken at the mo) will be able to detect redberries without need for los |

so essentially that means i got the last moment warning blip appear on my radar because one of my team spotted the tank?
