Actually we have an army of robots called reclaimers for that they come in and dissolve just about everything left. |

False pattern recognition there. With as many different things there are to drop, the odds are quite great that you will get more things you aren't specialized in than the things you are.
Think of it like the lottery, you expect to lose because the odds are thousands or millions to 1. At least in the Dust lottery you're only like 20 or 30:1 against.
On the other hand, if you spread your skill points around instead of specializing, you'll always be getting drops you can use. :) (well, except for level 5 skill gear, which you'll never reach by spreading it around)
