Been here sinse closed Beta and read tons of threads about joining corps or teaming up in public games. So I started a Corp, and got my son in to it. We went out to battle together, me as heavy and he as logic. Got the headset right with mic on.
And you have all been right every time,,,; joining/ teaming in battle is the way to do this game! We fought well. We helped each other out. He hacked and I supported him with my HMG.
I mean, by all means, we are not pro-¦s, but we did it good. I think we managed to end up 4th and 5th in a very tight match.
So to all you out there; team up with a friend and put a headset on, beacause this the way to play this game.
Thanks and see you in the battlefield, friends. |

Really? This was actually the first time we teamed up and tried out the game together at the same time. Hope you think we did som good, when you noticed us..?
We ran between A and B to hack and defend. It was a really good game. C was impossible to reach..hehe. They defended that really well.
I will keep my eyes open and support you if I see you in the same team. If you are on the other side, I must make you eat my bullets.. |

I think that's even cooler than the teamwork element but yeah, working together with teammates actually works. This^ My hats off to you sir! I only hope my daughter takes an interest in FPS when she gets older so we can do the same! Family video game teams FTW!
Thanx guys, this warms my heart even more. It-¦s actually the big thing, we don-¦t have to win or do good in matches. Only to do things together at equal level. My son (16) is in the game actually much more experienced and a better shooter than me (42). I on the other hand have slightly more patience and tactics in mind, when my eyes doesn-¦t follow the dots as quick as my teenaged sons eagleeyes. We have played BF3 since its beginning in the same clan, and it-¦s almost scary how good he is, and other youngsters with their reactions...
More often I hear, and maybe some of you older guys can relate to the following:
"watch out, dad..! you have a red dot just behind you, look at the radar." "Oh ****... thx my son.. Hmmm please revive me"
