UPDATE: POSSIBLE SOLUTION: invest in system hacking level one. You need circuitry level 4, before hacking skills.
I did this and the bug is gone. Not only do I complete all hacks but the hacking circle no longer flickers while hacking.
And to the last poster, it is not the controller. Stupid advice. People actually go and buy new controllers when they hear that, just to realize it was never the controller. And your rude tone is unhelpful |

Are you sure about the hacking skill not fixing it? Have you skilled in hacking?
I've been dealing with this issue for a long time, but noticed an immediate and obvious difference once I skilled into hacking.
Still waiting for others to confirm what has worked for me. |

Thanks for posting that. Now I know they are aware of it.
It makes me not want to play skirnish, which is why I play dust, so I hope it's fixed soon. |

For anyone who thinks I'm being longwinded about this, there is absolutely NO reason to play an objective based game where you cant hack the objective. Especially if you draw attention to yourself and get killed in the process.
This bug is getting so bad that I will not play this game anymore if it isn't fixed soon. And the only way I'll come back is if they announce that this specific bug is fixed, announcing it on twitter or something. Because I wont be periodically checking the forums or testing the game every so often, only to deal with the same frustration.
The next time I hack an objective that should by all means be capped long before someone spawns, like a heavy right next to me, I am quitting DUST.
And if you say good riddance, you saying that to someone who wanted to be into Dust for the longhaul.
