In all maps that have and will be released I would like to see a grid on the in-game map to help with the calling out the positions of both friends and foes. I also think it will help with team coordinations in corporate matches in the planning and execution of battle plans. If you agree with this and have anything else to add please reply and like this post so the Devs can do this for us as soon as they can.

you talking the mini-map or the overhead?

I think integrating it on the overhead would be feasible but putting it on the minimap might make it too jumbled. Agree that it would aid in coordination though. Although SL command markers work well too such as capture, attack, defend, and rally.

I am talking about the overhead view I agree that the mini-map would be to jumbled. The gridded overview map would mainly be a help to squads coordinating with each other rather then squad members using it, since bringing up the overview map takes time. This idea is mainly for when you are playing with multiple squads from your own corporation or if your working with another corporation. A gridded map would also help to calling out enemy positions as an example "sniper is on the building at grid D5" instead of " There is a sniper on the building east of A the one slightly under to the big pipe" or something like that lol.

+1 from me, there was a game for the 360 called chromehounds....they had a grid map system for calling out enemies, and even using the indirect fire weapons to blast them

Where can I go to view a layout of all maps? And most importantly, is there any .aps with detailed callout zones?

This is a great idea. Though it is UI related. You should take it over to the feedback / requests forum.
