Has anyone else had this issue? I thought it had something to do with joining a match, but I cleared out all my save data and all was well joining pub games, however when I attempted to join a squad voice chat my router turned off just as before. I have subbmitted a ticket but was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. |

Have you set these ports up?

PS3 requires some specific ports for their supported voice solution.
ps: I do not understand how a router is being reset by standard network activity. Something seems off about this problem. |

Your router should have automatic port mapping. Having open ports shouldn't be an issue unless your router is ancient, even then I don't think a router that old could handle the amount of data Dust514 requires.
Either your internet provider is being crappy or you need a new router.
Also, have you tried giving your router a restart? |

This happened to me one night a while back. It wasn't my router, it was my cable modem, and I'm at a loss as to even a theory.
As soon as I would select corp chat, I would get bounced out of PSN. Then I couldn't sign back in. Took a minute to figure out that my Internet was down.
I reset, went back into game, tried again. Happened again, as soon as I hit corp chat.
It was late, and I didn't want to believe that something I was requesting from a game server was crashing my modem, so I chalked it to a coincidence, and went to sleep. Never happened again. |

What are the power levels of your Cable modem? Is it Doscis 2 or 3? You could be have noise on your line, you should check your Upstream SnR. You'd have to call customer service to get that stat, the modem only shows downstream SnR. ratamaq doc wrote:This happened to me one night a while back.
