I know you guys are working toward some rollover system, but even if that came with the WP = SP, max 1000 after cap, I'd prefer the current system we have right now.
Reason: I like the surge of SP at the start of each week. I see considerable progress for a couple days, instead of only managing a few dozen thousand each day. The 1000 cap allows me to still make progress in the later part of the week, and it's not as much of a deterrent to play as the 50 cap was. That surge is super nice, though, being able to get a couple skills or make noticeable progress in 1-3 days is more enjoyable than the same progress spread out over 7 days. |

I would be really dissapointed if we went back to some sort of daily cap.
Can't say I know the specifics, but I thought it was a "daily" system, as in you would get access to Day 1's SP only, if you didn't use it, on Day 2, you would have access to 1 and 2's SP. So, if you played every day, you're only getting one day's SP at a time, instead of having the full week's worth open up at once. |

I don't know, it depends on what they've meant by "weekly." Could be that you only stockpile up to a week's worth of SP, right? I know they don't want us to bank a huge amount of SP, but I've never took their talking about it to mean that you would unlock one week's worth of SP at a time, which is what I am in favor of.
Edit:
Quote:As with a roll over system, a weekly cap allows players to better choose when to play within each week without having to jump in every day to secure all possible skill points.
That's from Wang's vote thread, and that sounds to me like you're only going to ever be dealing with one week's worth of SP at a time. |
