The meteor didn't cause that. It was the overusage of communication in the telephone lines that led the network to crash. In Eastern Europe, our internet is not so great anyway. That always happens during disasters. People calling everyone about it, media bullshiting, ..... And yeah one more thing, the meteor pieces didn't cause those factorys to colapse or windows to crack. It was the force of sound, when the meter enterd the city, the force of breaking the sound wall. Like in your jets, and 747s. |

okay to be Mr. Science here. The Meteor was travelling 330,000 mph which is about 430 times the speed of sound. So you can image the shockwave to follow. Only Military jets are capable of exceeding mach 1 successfully (not to mention it almost illegal for a civillian plane to break the sound barrier, for obvious reasons.) So the big 747s and other jumbo jets are incapable of exceeding .89 mach due to their physical body.
