Seriously, i feel like a mathematician, trying to calculate the risk assessment as i play , it also stops me from helping my team some times, because i worrying about losing to much money. I find my self been one of that annoying snipers after 5 death, because i trying to break even with my ISK gain per battle.
I don't asking for much... just a little bit more, maybe something like +5%.
Pleaseeeee pretty please

How much are your fits?
I can see money being an issue once you start playing proto but honestly I have no issue with money, and I am not by any means an amazing player. |

They are only 35,000 ISK, are they are nothing amazing ( Very basic tier 2 fit ). But even if i finish in the top 3 players every battle, and don't die more than 5 times, i still make a very small profit.
I know i could use that starter dropsuits, but it sounds stupid that you can't maintain a very basic tier 2 dropsuit, even if you regularly finish in the top 5 players. Some times i only make as little 10,000 ISK profit, some times i get lucky, and make 100,000 ISK, other times is lost ISK, even if i finish in the number 1 position.

Honestly, I think the ISK payouts are plenty fine as long as you aren't trying to drop non-militia vehicles or prototype dropsuits AND then losing them every game or dying a lot. The more expensive gear is for players who are skilled or are part of a coordinated squad and don't die as often as those who aren't as skilled or uncoordinated.*
The ISK payouts are primarily based on your warpoints, which is what you're contributing to the team. I'm kind of glad it works out that way because then snipers don't get as much ISK for standing too far from the battle to be anything more than a pest, especially those ones who set up in positions where they have no real affect on the outcome of the game and just get kills instead.
Honestly, the real war points and ISK are in scouting and logistics since scouts are fast and get to hack plenty of stuff and logistics get points for just about everything they do; resupply by nanohive, reviving, healing and spawning people with drop uplinks. My average warpoints per battle (not counting ones where I'm with a squad of corp mates) is about 1200 (not sure if there is an actual tracked stat for that or not, just a guess)
If cost is really an issue, look at how many times you die in a typical game and then the average ISK payout per game. Try to set a number of times you consider acceptable deaths and then balance the cost of your dropsuit out so that your cost will be about equal as the payout if you die that many times, making sure you will at least break even in most of your games.
Example: I set my first non-starter logistics suit up to make sure I could break even if I died 10 times, though I rarely did outside of extremely imbalanced games.

*shrug* dont know what to tell you. I have zero problems with isk and I think we are probably playing and spending in the same ballpark.
I havn't gotten up to the level yet but to my understanding the more you risk, the more you make.

No sure about that... my regular gaming season ;
- 14 K / 5 D , 1000 WP , finish in the top 3 = 200,000 isk to 250,000 isk
- 5 x 35,000 = 175,000 isk
- that is and average of 25,000 ISK profit.
Die a 6th time, and more often then not i end up losing money.
Compare that to the FREE starter dropsuit, and you can clearly see the difference in profit .

the problem right now is you cannot sell your salvage, once you can do that the payouts won't be as bad granted I think more salvage should appear in each battle, too many times do you get nothing even if you win. |

My current loadout is 63k ISK per death. So I only use it when I know I'm gonna be relativity safe. I.E. if our team is getting owned, I won't waste the suits. If it's an even match or we're winning, I'll use em. Otherwise I use the starter sets. As 63k adds up really fast when your getting rolled. And my average ISK per battle is only around 200k, so i use 3 suits and that's it! Regardless of how the team is doing. |

I have to agree. The payout difference between a **** poor performance and a fantastic performance doesn't make sense.
I can go 25/1 and get maybe 350k, or I can go 1/25 and get 200k. |

I agree that the payouts could be a bit higher, and I agree with the guy who said we should be able to sell our salvage. That would really offset our costs.
In the mean time, my personal solution is to alternate between playing Ambush and Skirmish. When I play Ambush I use a cheapo suit (like 6k or 7k ISK) and make a good amount of profit. Then I play Skirmish and use my expensive suits and try not to worry too much if I'm making or losing money each round. |

I think we need higher risk/reward game types, rather than a global payout increase.
My main suit is like 145k per fit, and I made ~10 mil over the past week. I don't understand having trouble making money in this game when you're running substantially less. |

Passive skills + BPOs = Fat Wallet
Actually, you don't even really need the BPOs. Having a good base of passive skills will increase your survivability without adding to your fitting's overhead.
Also, you can try making some cheap/BPO "single serving" fittings for farming WP when you're not getting stomped. For instance, I've got an all BPO hacking/sprinting/uplink scout to start Skirmish with. That fitting generally nets me ~250 WP without costing a dime. (Even the non-BPO equivalent would be cheap enough to barely matter.) Half the time I end up hacking a supply depot and changing fits before the reds can put a stop to me. It really takes the sting out of losing a proto SMG or two later in the match.
Lastly, start making different pricing tiers for your gear if you haven't already. Always rolling out in your best gear is a good way to lose all your money, fast. It's good to have something modestly priced to roll with, complimented by an expensive, high quality version to take out when the stakes are high and you need an edge, and a cheap or free crap version to fall back on when things turn hopeless and you need to minimize your losses. |

I recently broke 2 million. I use a Sica in most matches, although sometimes I run around in a logi suit that is mostly militia gear. The Sica is worth about 350k, so I turn a profit as long as it survives at least one match. Logi suit costs about 3500 isk. I have that so I can just run around reviving and healing and not have to worry about dying. |

Look here I have had the very same problem and the result is staying around a supply depot to hop in needed fits like an anti vehicle fit then hopping back into the standard assault medic fit. If you play one game in only standard fits you can make an acsess of 200 to 300 thousand isk. Then you will have a surplus for your suits and even if you make only 100 thousand isk the next that will still be 300 to 400 thousand isk. You could do like I do simply farm isk in a standard medic assault suit I have actually become proficient in this suit. I find when I am worrying about loosing a good suit I actually play worse from the stress but when I am using a standard I am having more fun knowing I am not loosing isk from simply loosing not so great a suit. |

Yep, i started doing this too. ( Great advice )
I try to help my team as much as i can, to i die 4 times, then i use the medic standard suit for the rest of the battle.
I still think that should be a "bit" easier, to maintain a basic tier 2 dropsuit. It may encourage people to try helping their team a bit harder.
