I've seen a few corps out there with an alliance and i've been wondering how did they manage to do that? this is probably a noobish question or has already been answered.(pardon my lazyness to search the forums more) is this an Dust corp + EVE corp alliance kind of thing or is it something a bit different? |

to my knowledge, alliances can only be formed in EVE still... |

Corporations created in DUST exist in EVE, and vice versa. However, it is impossible for DUST mercenary corps to create an Alliance right now. They must join an existing EVE Alliance if they want to be in one. |

But that is the cost, Koolay.
Alliances are NOT cheap. Then again, they can claim entire regions of space (if they are good enough) comprised of dozens of star systems and potentially generate trillions in revenue per month. |

The alliances are nearly if not entirely corps founded by EVE players that joined alliances, whether they are dust and eve mixed or a single eve character running a dust corp. |

2mil is nothing in eve, you can make that in less than 20 minutes.
1bil isn't exactly a lot either, it's not throw away money for most but it's still not hard to come by if you work at it.
when dust gear is made in eve it's going to be a whole new game. either dust stuff will drop in price dramatically or it will skyrocket. I don't think dust gear will be the same throughout and as seen throughout the years in eve mineral prices ride a roller coaster of ups and downs. |

You dont have to join an existing alliance. |
