So i recently tried flying some dropships with afterburners in a match, And Damn they are Fun to use.
Even if i die, The Speed alone makes me waste my Isk just for it.
But they are not useful in ambush, because it's kinda pointless unless you are in a skimish match.
So has anyone else used afterburners?
(PS: Might as well just fool around on Dust while everyone is waiting for updates and such. |

You sir are a disgrace, those Gallente ships probably think you look hideous too. Those beauties are all works of art and deserve your love and respect, as do the engineers ... artists who made them.

Don't know about you guys but try fitting a methana with as many jovian powerplants as you can (3) and get the best booster available (forgot the name , it's an afterburner for ground vehicles) you will reach warp speed under a second :D

And yes I chose Caldari as my bloodline so it was all in good fun. Actually think the Gallente dropship looks really classy and all, like a luxury vehicle. However, I still prefer the straight edge look of Caldari.

I use these for my alt all the time in a DS.
You shouldn't ever die when you have one equipped.
What I do is wait until I start taking damage I can no longer tank, then turn on the AB.
AND WOOOSH lol.
of course it only works well on a decently tanked myron.
Not sure about the gallente version. |
