Greetings,
I have very disturbing news to report on our Space led force in OPERATION FLAME OF HOPE
It would seem that CONCORD has aided Minmatar by giving them superior firepower and technology, through DED tech. This is violates the treaty set between the CONCORD and the four factions. This is unacceptable, and question the future of all Amarrians everywhere.
House Ardishapur of the Amarr Empire will be launching a formal investigation
THIS WILL NOT STAND!

So quick to judge, you did not even read further where CONCORD justified it's involvement in the conflict
Quote:Good evening Miss Vea,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Keraimo Hakanuro. I act as Chief Investigating Officer for the Inner Circle's Internal Affairs Department, with the CONCORD Assembly.
I would like to emphasize a few key points before I speak regarding your issue.
First, your friends fired on a member of the government of the Minmatar Republic. Second, they did this within the Republic's sovereign space. Third, they did so illegally, under both the Yulai Convention and Republic Law. Fourth, in retrospect, this was a very foolish thing to do which cost your organization a lot of hardware and a lot of lives.
Now, moving on to your allegations:
The DED had been alerted by the Matari Tribal Council of their intent to have their delegates travel tonight. In fact, we were given over a month of notice. Of course, the DED were not aware of Goonswarm Federation's status as Imperial Loyalists. This will be amended and added to our records.
In the same respect, DED vessels within Heimatar, operating within the bounds of their duties as outlined in the Yulai Convention, were instructed to be vigilant of any disturbances along the routes in question. Their response times to a disturbance of this nature were entirely normal and given your need to complain, were as expected, effective enough to defuse the situation.
With regards to the technology used on board the vessels involved. The CONCORD Assembly is joint funded by all four of the major sovereign powers as a peacekeeping force. The most solid and reliable technologies from all four empires are put to good use to build and maintain our fleet as well as keeping it at the cutting edge of combat capability. Our technologies are created partially from the technologies you saw in use this evening. As a graduate of the School of Applied Knowledge you should know this.
The individuals piloting the vessels in question were capsuleers. On that point you were correct. These capsuleers however are highly trained pilots who have served with the Matari government or military for decades in some instances, and are licensed to use both conventional and prototype military hardware under CONCORD regulation.
It would appear that you are confused as to the political situation, and I'm glad I could clear that up for you. In terms of this evening's events, it's unfortunate that your organization saw fit to attempt to disrupt what was a peaceful gathering to celebrate a long awaited and extremely significant turning point in the Republic.
I have to say that I take personal pride in seeing that justice was served, and seeing that those who stepped out of line were put in their place.
In response to your request - there will be no investigation, and even the thought of such an action is a ridiculous notion. With that in mind, be warned that should your fellow pilots choose to breach the Yulai Convention in future, they will be put firmly in their place again.
Regards,

This accounts for the increased security force and detail, but not heavily equipped Minmatar ships of DED Tech
Quote:Secondly, DED also uses Jovian Tech, if I am not mistaken. And part of the agreement to use Jovian Tech is that it not be shared. I've seen (and used) modules from all for empires that are used in their navy shps, as well as pirate faction modified modules. Heck, I've even used modules modified specifically for officers of said pirate factions. Never have I come across modules of that potency before. Based on the fact that they were able to be fitted on a battleship (with a comparably low reactor output to say, a carrier) that leads me to conclude they were Jovian in nature
