Anyway, I've noticed a couple of threads regarding the merc battles that are going on right now. Quite honestly I don't understand a damn thing but what all of ya'll are talking about. I've never played EVE and really didn't care about the back story till i saw these interesting threads pop up. Someone fill me in, I'm willing to read any long posts or links. Gallente dropsuits and dropships look totally classy, but I don't like the good guys ideals they have. Amarr is badass, that laser rifle.... I suppose corporations represent the 4 races????

I'm a first Gen merc. if you want to learn even more the first link is on the EVE wiki, they have a ton of story's and history there. if you want even more there have been three books, empyrean age, the burning life and templar one. templar one is our origin story. they are good reads, I sugest them, most books stores have a copy or two on the shelves, and I'm sure amazon or walmart will mail you one if you want.

I wish I could do a remake of the old intro in HD , but I just can't find high rez versions of some of the art used. And the eve online Art book has a few of them but has this crazy anti scanner ink. Make it so CCP ! just add a short disclaimer that it's the original / classic intro but that it explains some of the history of where we are.

Of course, Gallente are WAY cooler than Caldari (and everyone else) so that can't be it.
