you guys have decent corp names so thats a start. Though im not sure how many people are gonna get the dious ex reference. You gotta start by getting a small but consistent player base going. Even if you only have 8 people signing on a day, that can be enough to have people who want to stay. I want to emphasize that letting ANY of the early members have director/officer roles at first is a terrible idea. Wait a few months to see who seems to be most loyal and ect ect for that sort of thing.
Once you have a decent group going, try to organize corp matches against other small corps, win and youll be recognized by the other small corps.
Go into pub matches and stomp on people, this forces them to see your name at the end of each match. Believe me, its impressive to other people when they see someone go 25 and 1 in a match, and its the sort of thing that makes your name/ corp name stick in their mind.
Also try recruiting personally, if you see someone in an npc corp doing well in a pub match, mail them and see if there willing to join. Try to make sure everyone has mics though because if they dont it provides you with a lack of communication. |

First off, get some friends on dust. You need to have some back up when trying to lure people in. The corp will be a lot more welcoming if its not just you on at any time. Secondly, i hope your charismatic. You have to be someone that people want to play with. Thirdly, the player base is FARRRRRR too low to worry about recruiting as a small corp (in my opinion). To be honest..... I would add an alt to your corp, switch CEO powers to him, leave the corp with your main, and try joining another corp until the player base increases.
But really..... if you want a critical mass estimate...... once you get about 10 members active in your corp consistently, things shouldn't be too hard for you. The trick is getting that first 10 though, and given how things are going now..... you'll be hard pressed to find anybody playing this game and not in a corp. |
