theres always going to be people like that. Get used to it. As for running by installations and turrets and not hacking them, if its between a turrent , supply depot, CRU or control point...believe im running by the turrets and depot. In most cases the CRU and control point will always take precedence. And usually its the CRU first.

well couldnt another way to win skirmish is to deplete enemy clone reserves? just sayin theres been times that the scrub team im on is losing and we still win by wiping the clones of the other team... points controlled just alters the timer for you to accomplish that (not always the case and I understand the OP argument, just playin devils advocate)

I am a big fan of the game mode Skirmish. I do not like Ambush because it reminds me of "Call of Duty"(worst game ever). Lately I have noticed that people have been Skirmish as if it were Ambush. People are running past cannons, not hacking installations, etc. People that is the objective. Not to run around getting kills. You kill the enemy for several reasons in this mode, however it is not the main objective. People that do this ruin the game mode for those who enjoy Skirmish. I believe this is happening cause those who prefer Ambush, are not happy with the spawn situation. Well I am here to tell you, Ambush lovers, your play style is not welcome in Skirmish. So PTFO or GTFO!

The only things I tend to hack are Null Canons and CRUs, everything else comes after.

I dont mind players who are just there to kill others, I think they help the team in a way.

So while I'm off killing everything you could be hacking all of those and getting WP's, I guess I don't see your point.

So what if I don't hack anything (I do, im just making a point), that means you or some one else could go do it. Maybe we saw blue dots around the CRU and decided to protect you while you hack, have you even considered that?


Also when you hit the cap, ambush becomes like a second home. 20 to 25 mins of skirmish = 1500 WP but 6-9 minutes of ambush = 1500 WP so who is the real winner once you hit the SP cap.

Again, I am going by what I have seen, I can't go by what I think is going on or what I hope is going on. After you hit your cap go play Ambush, I have no problem with that. Just don't play Ambush in Skirmish, that's my argument. So you said that for what reason?

This is what you will need to expect in public matches, whining on the forum wont help that. unfortunately the majority of players play for fun, play to escape real life and for the interaction. People will do what they find fun which maynot always be what you or the dev's anticipated.

For most people being told YOU MUST, YOU HAVE TOO or a similar statement turns the game from something fun to a second job.

So if people doing what they like to do annoys you to the point you're no longer having fun then maybe you should HTFU or GTFO

Win rules for Skirmish -

1) Destroy Enemy MCC
2) Deplete enemy clones


I really dont see the issue they are not breaking ccp rule, they are doing something you dont like something that may not be efficent but they are noing nothing wrong.

forget about installations, cru's and objectives first. i can't stand it when i see noobs ariving at an objective and they all go for the installations, just common sense to hack spawn points first.

Did you read the thread? Really? I agreed in the importance of order in which things are taken. Again it is the fact that nothing is being taken. I have seen it. Also if it doesn't apply let it fly.

Yes, that is actually what you do. If I or any one of us gets into a skirmish and we don't hack, (vets actually hack) then its for a good reason. But most of the time its new players like yourself that don't hack or know what to do. But you decided to go to the forums and rant about ambush being like COD, then lambasted players for not hacking an ammo supply, turret or CRU.

In reality usually when vets don't hack its because A) they know something you don't and realize they need to secure or defend an area before hacking or B) they are expecting the blue dots to hack and they are guarding the blue dots.

Your complaints are invalid sorry. I don't know how you would force a noob to hack an objective. From what your saying you probably don't think more strategically then 'GET ALL DEM OBJECTIVES SO WE WIN' but if your down too much it wont matter if you have all the objectives are not you will still lose because the MCCs shoot each other too. I have need noobs hack CRUs that the imperfects were allowing the enemy to keep so that we could farm away the clones and win. Instead we lost because the newberry had no strategy in mind and didn't realize that we would lose if we didn't clone them first because despite us having all objectives we weren't going to kill the MCC fast enough.

More like conquest from Battlefield. domination still has the random as **** spawns, and the points are about 10 foot away from each other. It does very much remind me of a combination of conquest, as well as hints of Titan Assault from Battlefield 2142.

Really though? Where did you come from? Anyway that is all well and good during your corp battles. That is your strategy amongst the corp. The general idea of a skirmish is to cap cannons. Since not everyone can get on the same page with lets say your strategy the best thing to do is to grab a cannon that the enemy has. CRU's, in my opinion are most dangerous when in the enemies hands. You never know what or who may come through the portal and with a bunch of randoms I prefer not to chance it. So yes that may work, what you said, in a corp. battle.

Heck I have done it with only myself and 1 other imperfect and we completely stopped all enemies who spawned. They never had a chance and it allowed us to farm their clones very well. Its different if you are winning then it doesnt matter if you take the CRU or not but if you are losing and the only way to win is to farm clones this is the best way to do it if you have all of the other objectives.

I don't like it when blueberry's hack my red CRU. Nothin' better than camping a red CRU and mowing down reds with my HMG. Win by clone depletion I say... kill them all.

Randoms dont come to the forums............or if they do they dont pay attention to anything that is said.

So basically spawn camp and cheapin the game. Punk move in my opinion, it like kick someone when there down. Man up, fight fare, you have an HMG, so what you scared of?

If someone is willing to continue to spawn in the same location when they are being spawn killed then they deserve to be killed over and over again. Its the same as people who run out into the open to revive and ally. I will wait until he begins to revive then I will kill them both. Easy double kill. And it makes me laugh when I get to kill the same person many times over as allies try to res him.

And that is why I have another discussion about that. "Why does revive still count as death?" And this is what makes you a great player, not only re-killing someone who had no choice in the matter, but killing them with less then half health. This is why I called for a fix so players like you can no longer exploit this technique. That is what make you a great player though.

Most people who spawn in a location have no idea there is an enemy there. Your not killing the same person. Your killing his teammates who he cannot warn for whatever reason. Sometime you can't stop the choice you made to spawn in a area.
