Actually started using damage mods yesterday and gotta say they're not even that great if you want to do good. Sure they're glitched so if you want to use them now is the time but if you want to do good I think shield extenders are the better option. A glass cannon build isn't so bad for randoms but against good players who can aim I find shield extenders are the way to go. IMHO 2 complex dmg mods & 1 complex shield extender is perfect, and leaves enough CPU/PG in a B-series for AV grenades to fit as well; couldn't manage that with 3 dmg mods.

Stacking modules is supposed to make the effectiveness of them drop.
1 module is 100%, the 2nd is 86%, and the 3rd I forget. As it stands now if I put 3 complex damage mods on a fit, the modifier goes from 1.0 to 1.33. |
