I think there should be unique blips on the radar for infantry.
The HAV, MAV, and LAV vehicles have different icons on the radar. As such, a Heavy dropsuit should give off a different blip than an Assault dropsuit. Soldiers with nanite injectors or an armor repair unit should have something special for them. |

A special radar icon for medic so people can come to them to get healed instead of the medic chasing them down. |

if you die and there a medic on the battlefield. he will get a a indicator that you die, it will flash when you press help request. for you to find a loggy, yes that will be good. when profile pops up or scan goes down |

For friendlies there should be unique symbols for each dropsuit, but for enemies I'd say it should be something subtle like the size of the blip. For instance, a scout suit would be a small blip, a logi suit would be a bit bigger, assault even bigger and then heavy pretty big. You'd have to be paying attention to actually notice it. Plus it would work realistically with the tech as it should be pretty easier to detect the difference between the quiet footsteps of a scout and the large thuds of a heavy. |

Make profile analysis at lev 5 ... and you get it * Serious, without covering/hacking this signals it is pointles. Most of you always will run away when heavy dot appear, so less fight more cover. Now dot 'flash' when you are very close to enemy so there is no time for run, only engage whatever enemy is and whatever it use. There are no time for studing his eq. and thinking about tactics.

That was actually what I was thinking at first when I wanted to make this suggestion. [The blip size, larger for Heavy, smaller for Scout.] But then I saw there were different types for the HAV/MAV/LAV and Dropships. Then I thought about giving the triage units special ones, like a medic cross for the ones with armor repair units, and a medic cross with an upward arrow next to it for those with nanite injectors.
I could see the sized blip working for when teammates don't see the enemy. For example, when one spawns, a blip pops up initially. With how advanced the EVE/DUST universe seems, I'd assume when a dropsuit is picked up on the scan system, it would be able to specify which kind it is, and assign the unique icon rather than a sized blip. But that's just me. |

I like OP's ideas. It could help plan a method of approach to different dropsuit types. |
