I hit a small bump in the road and my tank exploded from full health. That is 100% bs. The collision damage is way to high. I had a drop ship and it grazed the side of a building and it died. Armor is way stronger than shields when it comes to collision. Is this how the game is going to be or is this something that is going to be looked at? I understand collision damage and why it is where it is at now. Although I shouldn't be losing that much HP to the map. It's rediculous at this point! |

I field tested this with a dropship and you sir are 100% correct. It is rediculous how soft these things are. I don't know if CCP nerfed and left it alone but I know I hope they didnt nerf it and field test it and leave it.. |

Either way man you shouldn't rub a building with a drop ship and die. As well I have lost a tank to the map from a bump. It is bad |

People say there's no love for armor and CCP favors shields, skills in armor=Superior to anything shield. +1 though, I've had tanks, even armor explode when hitting things.
I agree in the current build that armor is stronger than shields, depending on what is shooting at you. Shields take more damage from energy damage. Armor takes more damage from explosive damage, missiles av nades, etc. I have field tested the shield theory with missiles shooting at installations. While I was shooting at a supply depot with a missile tank. The supply depot was only taking 70% of damage from my missiles while it was in shields. Once it got into armor it went to 100%. You have to have the right tool to do the job. I don't think people realize this. Most people that I see are spec'n proto forge when the majority of tankers are in armor tanks. It's not my sp though, spend it how you want to. Back to topic, WILL ANYTHING BE DONE ABOUT MAPS KILLING TANKS? CCP do you have an answer? Tanks can literally drive through buildings but yet in this game they die to a bumpy road |
