I want to join Arkombine corporation, and when I started the game, it just joined me to a corporation that I didn't know of. How can I join Arkombine corporation and how does corporation system exactly work? |

Unfortunately it's random. Also, when you quit a player corp you are randomly placed in an NPC corp, not necessarily the one you originally started with.

This should be a feature though. |

If you really want to be in a specific NPC corporation and the corp you want matches the race you selected, make a corp on an alt and repeatedly join it and eject yourself from it until you land in your preferred corp. |

Though, this should still become a feature eventually. |

Actually, if you apply to join "DUST 411" and post in this thread, I'll log into my alt who is CEO of that corp and accept you then kick you, save you 1.5 million ISK. Do this as many times as you need.
EDIT: Wait, no.
Just checked. Arkombine does not appear to be one of the available NPC corporations. They're a corporation in EVE lore but unavailable for DUST mercs, as far as I can tell. |

Completely random Watch out for the Brutor Vangaurd, though, they really are mostly idiots/noobs in there, I actually met a guy who insisted he was better trying to no-scope at close range as a sniper than when playing with any other weapon. He kept leaving 0/12 or worse wondering what was wrong.... |

there are hundreds of eve corps. Only some get invovled in dust merc wars. Some Eve corps are the equivalent of blackwater or lockheed martin or smith and wesson or exxon mobil. Other corps are like walmart, greyhound, amazon, or the associated press. Although I suppose I wouldn't put it past wallmart to put merc boots on the ground. |
