You have to be good with the AR and bob and weave your ass off. If you can do all that then it works out fairly well. |

I would only suggest trying that with a tac AR, and always staying on the edge of combat |

I have tried everything for scout. Nothing seems to do the trick. Scout suits are useless unless the person that's shooting at you is terrible. and I mean terrible... Or you just get your dampening higher then the other guys scanning. |

um... Scout + AR works well

As far as this, someone tried it against me, but the "bob and weave" strategy doesn't really work against a mass driver. |

Yah, it's one of the weaknesses of a scout suit. MDs pretty much own them. A scout usually has to fall back/flank while his teammates take care of the MD user. Scout can work well against other infantry with guns (like AR) because people can walk through a river of molasses faster than they can strafe in this game @.@ |

I use it all the time. However, some of my Scout suits I don't anticipating living a long life in. 
A fast hack and dodge directly into the mess will get points, establish and area as well as draw enemy fire and troops as well. A circle around the outside sometimes works better and reduces the odds of enemy interaction
The AR does keep me alive as I am okay with that weapon. I am better with it than either a Shotgun or a Mass Driver. I always aim, at the head, and try to keep them moving around corners so I can wear them down. Or I back around the corner then run like the little bunny I am while trying to live another day.
Some Scouts have a Small Arms Weapon slot, BTW. |
