just wanted to say,
from the perspective of a relatively new player to the game,
as well as to the sver true bloods ...
... i had a blast tonight.
there was a lot of 'pub stomping'.
then there were some close matches.
.... and then there was zdowggg losing his mind completely,
calling in tank after tank, without proper squad support, and without care of who we happened to be facing,
in what appeared to be a hilariously spiteful act of adolescent self-destruction.
...
at least, that's how i saw it.
regardless,
$20 million+ ISK in damages.
kudos to everyone that hand a hand in it.
it was truly great fun. hope i continue to see you all out there.

what i also mean to say is,
i think zdowggg took a lot of what was said in a prior forum post to heart,
and was out to prove that he could best anyone by himself,
doesn't back down or out from matches,
roll with anyone (taking even scrub new admits to the clan, namely me, along with him),
and still come out on top.
and i think, in a lot of respects, he succeeded in proving a lot of that.
... but taken together it all added up to playing ridiculously recklessly.
which was fun, but ultimately ended in disaster.
...i think there's a lot to be learned from this... |

yeah you're right, Sete Cliffton.
sorry zzdowg.
i intended my post to be, a mature examination of what had happened,
as well as an exclamation of what fun this game is when dealing with such epic risk/reward scenarios in matches.
it was not my intention to 'slam your name', or upset you by announcing how much you lost in a night to the world.
... i thought maybe you'd revel in that actually, as it would give most people the impression that you just laugh off that kind of mad cash ... but i suppose i thought wrong. |
