How is it possible to be sprinting, weaving & jumping, and still have EVERY one of your opponents rounds hit you? To top it off, they kept hitting me even after I was 5 steps around the corner of a building! WTH! |

I've spent most of my Skill points into the AR "Homing" skill, if you haven't noticed yet under circuitry there is a skill called "Homing" This allows 5% of bullets fired at a target to seek targets behind cover or around corners. I currently have it at level 4 and my Homing percentage is at 9% so roughly for every 10 bullets I miss 1 or 2 of those is gunna get yo ass.
You must have your weaponry skill at level 5 and your AR skill to at least level 4 to unlock this skill though. Your welcome. |

I wonder when they'll add Deathtrap. |

There is something called leading your target. Professional assault rifle users do this all the time. Also, if you have been doing so up until now, I suggest you stop running in the open. |

bullets are quite fast. esp space bullets. If you are exposed in the open you should die as infantry, it doesn't matter if you breakdance, moonwalk or bunny hop. |

It's called LAG. Happens to me every now and then.
Although I also suspect it has something to do with the SOny Pulse Wireless headset that I'm using. I have to keep resetting it and my router as well to make sure this doesn't happen to me. |

It happens when you Dust 514 fails to match you up with games on your region e.g European gets thrown to US servers or vice versa.
It's pretty easy to spot since: - the audio will often start lagging - your bullets suddenly deal like 75% less damage. (Lag makes your bullets miss a lot more often) - You start to take like double the damage, die behind corners etc. (Delay when receiving damage)
Before the hit detection fix the game was pretty much unplayable when I was playing on non-European servers. None of the bullets would hit and I would still get shot down in an instant. Compared to when playing on European one my bullets would suddenly deal like 4x the damage and I could take a lot more shots than I could in US servers. (there was a time when you could choose the region where you where playing)
Few tips when in such game: - Avoid using Tactical and burst weapons and go with the normal spray and pray variants. Tactical and burst weapons require more accurate shots witch are fairly hard to pull off with a lag. - Play defense as lag makes you vulnerable to instant deaths especially with assault or scout dropsuit. (non-laggy players killing you before you even know you are hit) - Stay in a group, getting flanked will result in instant death. In a group you might be lucky enough to not be the first target allowing you that 1 second reaction time to fire back and/or take cover. - if the other team dominates (corps vs random newberries), it's often better just to cut the losses and quit rather than provide them with free kills. Alternatively you can try to snipe few of them from your base. |
