Swarm tactics - regardless of how much team work works in this game - do not. Grouping together like pigs to the slaughter isn't teamwork. You think a heavy fears seeing 4 cherries? He doesn't, he see's an opportunity. He fears the flanker, or the player constantly on the move. Running up to my HMG with 3 people behind you doesn't help unless all of you can fire at the same time.
So thanks, I don't much care for KDR, but the newberries around here love to pad it getting the wrong idea of teamwork.

Granted, if several huddle into an area I'm swapping into my mass driver fit. New players running solo benefit from staying close to others - but they need to steer clear of heavies regardless. Flank or get ganked. |
