900 HP with the ability to aim just as fast as every other suit. get a logi to follow behind with res needle and you can keep walking forward without problems.

my thread is glitched, I got a 404 error when I posted it so now my original text is invisible to me!
All im saying is, sharpshooter heavies require more strategy, me and 1 other guy, firs throwing 4 grenades and flanking a heavy can EASILY double team him.
But I can take down standard heavies manned by poor players by myself 1v1 with no problem yet I see SO MUCH QQING about them. |

Oh wow, you have to think about what you're doing instead of just blindly shooting?
Step 1: Kill the logi. He's fluffy.
Step 2: Use your distance (which i'm assuming you're keep a good bit of) and movement speed to work the heavy down to nothing.

EDIT: Directed at people QQing about Logi/Heavy teams. |

I can't wait to upgrade my sharpshooter for my AR and try that against heavies. |

wait so you don't have to use HMG with a heavy? I've never seen 1 without in all my 5 days of playing (such a pro)
thats gonna be unbeatable! |

HMG is more CQC. the map with those hallways and other building structures, turn a corner and spray killing everyone in the hall. eat the grenades that some may chuck at you.
puting points in the stamina skills allows for a jumpy heavy. get like an extra jump to get out of the danger zone. |

Just came out of a 38 kill match with allot of heavies, spawned had 2 heavies bearing down on me, cleared his shields, chucked em a nade, other one ate AR plasma to the face.
2 Heavies less, then killed a Logi who was wondering where his heavies went when he came around a crate aaand another heavy ...i was swearing allot but in the end they all died.
But yeah allot of people seem to roll Heavy right now...

just duck behind a corner and double back. if they're looking at you, try to lose them. all they can do is waddle after you, and they take EVERY hit, they cannot juke period. if you get them interested in something else, you can immediately lay into them and take off half their armor. they don't get that armor back by the way, unless they have a pocket medic (almost never happens)
i'm honestly wondering if people who complain about heavies should just uninstall. or just deal with it and re-evaluate once they have 1.5mil+ sp

I've gotten a lot better at avoiding and taking down heavies since I tried to play as one on a alt.
Even though the HMG is still pretty deadly at decent range, the AR with sharpshooter at lvl 3 or 4 will make a huge difference. If you do manage to accidentally land yourself in a heavies lap, just hope you can find momentary cover to properly cook a nade, I have one quite a few 1v1 right up in a heavies face by tearing their health down with a nicely cooked nade. If I am able to keep my distance, I might not get the kill but I will try to damage them as much as humanly possible from range, and hope that somebody else takes advantage of their momentary weakness.
As for the more coordinated heavies that carry a logi backpack, best thing to do is stay out of view of the heavy and attempt to take out the logi, then once that's done, it's jut a matter of out flanking the heavy and widdling their health down. Although I have found that many logis are mini-tanks themselves when they start stacking those slots with shields or armor, so when you have a pair of well-off heavy and logi, it's going to take a small squad of players to take them out if they arent playing sloppy.
Pretty much as it is now, if I see/hear a heavy at close or medium-range, I run away and try my luck at distance. Also using partial cover works quite well, as the less your body is exposed, the less DPS they can do to you. |

Shhh Hammer, don't give away the secrets, I was liking the ground side break from being primaried every time weapons went live
In seriousness the above advice is good, all engagements are situational of course but you rarely want to hit the thing with the biggest tank first and you often want to take out the Logi (as a dedicated, and squishy, Logi I say this with a wince). Just ask Jaww Cloud how quickly you can shut down a heavy + logi rampage with a steady hand and a long rifle
Lesson being, what you shoot can matter as much/more than how well.
