Thank god/CCP put that cap in place, I had no idea there were people like yourself that play all day everyday, do you never get a sore thumb from using the analogue stick? or eye strain, headaches from looking at the screen? Not to mention depression from lack of a reality check. Any sort of addiction is not good for you, in fact to much of a good thing will make you ill, ie stuffing your face with a box of chocolates all in one sitting, have a word with yourself bro. |

No lifers are going to be getting 1500 Sp a match after the cap.... in essence, the cap means nothing unless it gives players ZERO sp, or something close to it.
50 Sp hard-cap was good, as a no life 24/7 player could grind all day and only get 3-4k extra SP, if that. Now they will take in at least 45k Sp a day after reaching the cap.
This game will deteriorate very quickly with the 1000-1500 SP soft-cap per match and no-life 24.7 players.

No. Just no. Assuming you aren't being sarcastic, no-lifers can only gain a certain amount of advantage from having more skill points. After awhile they are maxed out on a single character, though they will probably be able to fit more different kinds of suits better than a low skill player, each individual suit they are wearing can only take advantage of so many skill points.
For example a no-lifer will probably have a really good Heavy fit, Assault fit and Scout fit, where as a no skilled player might only have 1 really good suit, but you can only wear one suit at a time in combat, and therefore once you max out a single suit they will both be on a level playing field, though the no-lifer will have more variety when they need it.
This is the exact reason why new people can still play eve after this long. There are guys in there with a decade of skill points, but newbies can still join, why? Because that 10 year vet can still only fly entry level ships so well, because once those skills are maxed they are maxed. |
