A number of "nerf this!" threads are based upon not knowing this
Sidearms: not a good idea. The only sidearm that has a chance is the Scrambler Pistol, and that's if you land a headshot for 400% damage.
Summary: HMGs will beat ARs - both are mid-range guns, but the HMG is specialized for mid-range. Against a competent HMG user, an AR user will not have a chance. I would like to hear the OP give feedback on using a different weapon with appropriate playstyle against an HMG user. In even fewer words: Don't fight a battleaxe with a Swiss Army Knife - use a longbow or cloak+dagger instead. I agree with this I can kill a heavy with hmg with a laser gun.. my point is when you spawn by on which is luck of the draw or try to take them on sometimes you won't win.. I just think it should over heat the longer you spray with it and make it a little in accurate.. you ever play Socom? they had the heavy machine guns not very accurate.. same should be used for this game and more recoil as well IMO
1: They do heat up
2: they are inacurate at start of Firing
3: this aint SOCOM
4: look up a GYRO its a cool thing wich the HMG utilizes |

I know it aint socom it was an example..
