Also, doing a one two flank with a tank proves effective.
By that, I mean:
1) Infantry moves to flank the enemy from one side. 2) While enemy is distracted with infantry, tank moves to other side. 3) Both begin brutally slaughtering the enemy.
Furthermore, in Tank vs Tank Warfare, you'll find that blasters have the highest dps, followed by railguns. However, blasters typically win if fighting in close ranges, but are terrible past medium long range. Railguns, on the other hand, provide a chance to attack from afar. I find that blasters are more viable as an all-around fighter: they make killing infantry and tanks viable with one gun.
Better for armor tanks, as they can tank more in those closer ranges. |

which is why I prefer to use Gallente tanks when using a blaster and Caldari tanks with railguns, plus they just look like they go together because of the design but that's not important. |

If they ram into you, they explode. They tend to avoid a negative game unless they truly want to watch the world burn. If you stay to one side of the road, they'll typically avoid you. |

Hardeners and the like. Minimize the dmg to your tank. Try to hit any blue LAVs you can while you're at full HP, especially if you have hardeners available. I know some are going to QQ about this, but maybe they can pull their heads out of their asses and not park LAVs in the way or crash into you when you're low on HP.
Also, if you kill someone's tank and get them in the next match, they and their corp might try to LAV suicide bomb you. There are a variety of tactics to avoid this. Your tank has significantly more torque than LAVs and better handling. Use those to your advantage. Make sure you TK the LAV suicide bombers so that they have to respawn. 9/10 times you'll be able to keep your HP fairly high and make them a non-factor.
It happens a lot. With practice you'll have no trouble tanking blue LAVs =] |

well they did only damage the shields on armor tank so its just LOL dead blueberry number 10, the part that bothered me most was the lav tried park his lav on top of my tank. but i was wondering is there a way to reduce the chance of getting teamed up with them again. |

If you squad up with a full squad, your chances of running into idiots is a full 25% lower due to the amount of available slots for them to take up. |
