People seriously need to read this guide. I find myself killing tanks with ease, and I'm not even an Anti-vehicle person. |

I'm going to help you new tank drivers out by providing some tips:
Armor Tanks are better for tanking and close range combat Shield Tanks are better for moving and long range combat |

Another helpful thing is that if you're squad leader, place a defend point on a full tank (especially if you're in it). Reasoning?
If you're in the tank: 35 from Vehicle Assist + 7 Commission + 10 Commission + Commissions from assists = max of roughly 60 war points for yourself alone.
60 + another guy's 35 + his 7 + 50 for kill + 10 commission = 162. That gets you an orbital pretty quick. |

Yeah, completely correct. If you're in the tank and not driving it, yet squad leader, you're probably in the best position. Have a heavy act as anti-infantry to reduce pesky AT weapons on top of your tank, and you get even more bonus points.
Edit: Also, if you have a logi repairing you as a squad leader, and you get and orbital strike, they get guardian points for each kill. Extremely useful. |

Also, doing a one two flank with a tank proves effective.
By that, I mean:
1) Infantry moves to flank the enemy from one side. 2) While enemy is distracted with infantry, tank moves to other side. 3) Both begin brutally slaughtering the enemy.
Furthermore, in Tank vs Tank Warfare, you'll find that blasters have the highest dps, followed by railguns. However, blasters typically win if fighting in close ranges, but are terrible past medium long range. Railguns, on the other hand, provide a chance to attack from afar. I find that blasters are more viable as an all-around fighter: they make killing infantry and tanks viable with one gun.
Better for armor tanks, as they can tank more in those closer ranges. |

If they ram into you, they explode. They tend to avoid a negative game unless they truly want to watch the world burn. If you stay to one side of the road, they'll typically avoid you. |

If you squad up with a full squad, your chances of running into idiots is a full 25% lower due to the amount of available slots for them to take up. |

Better than none, that's for sure. |
