^^^^ SO much info out there ^^^^
If you ave read around the baord you will see you are not alone. Even the vets are frustrated by ineffective players or speak on the problems you speak of in bad Public games. This is what I and others are talkign about, someone coming and saying YO, I wanna learn!" Some think everyone should learn the hard way, NO! the Hard way learners got their stripes, now teach the new fighting force from your experience brother.
That said, what information can you Corp provide? What channels are available to you for help? Do yo play mic'd if there is anyone to talk to? SO much of this game is not about playing the battles in "the game!" its the reward of the character! Alot of Newberries close up and snipe. But if you are not sniping other Newberries, you aren't killing Vets geared to handle a shot or two if you aren't trainined into sniping. Maybe a bit of armor damage then they fall back smartly. It's squad make up, the game is a team and it is so much more awesome that way, but you have to get out there and ask. GOOD ON YOU MATE!
Squading up will elevate your game if you ahve players who communicate. Youw ill start to see improve with time in regardless of ersult though yes it is frustrating. Proper gear builds will make you less a target, survive that extra death shot while your weapon skill kills the other guy a bit quicker etc etc. You wanna pursue Sniper? Look for some Scout builds. Some sic snipers out there. Sortie comes to mind (love dropping names, creates a history of characters like they can become famous as years roll on), he may not know who I am, but surely most people have met a bullet or two of his to the brain.
You are the player that we do not want to lose because you get frustrated, (IMO). So take the hard knocks, but reach out to learn. Dedicated players have so much information to give and have built so many suits when SP was given out like candy to get people to try all the different aspects to provide feedback.
Anyway, ask away. Use the channels, voice chatchannels and if that is a default Corp, look for a "real" Corp and run in groups. |
