This game is so close to the best fps I have ever played. I am the type of person who likes to play party games though. This game has no couch multiplier. I don't want to play in small matches with only friends, but I want to play large matches, with my friends playing with me, with a split screen. Most of my friends do not have a PlayStation 3, and my brother and I share my PS3. The game has the complexity of a multiplier game, but I still cannot play it with my friends. I would love a split screen option, or even better, make it available to the Wii U, and allow people to play on the TV, and on each game-pad(It will allow for two of them after costs drop for them.) The Wii U part is probably a little out of the question, but I would still play more if it happened. The main thing that will get me to play more than once every few weeks is split screen. |

No. No no no. No. This is an MMO, not a party game. |

Although I support the idea of split screen in theory, you'd need an easy way for someone to log into a second account which would be difficult since your account is tied to your PSN ID.
Supporting the Wii U would be a bad idea since the game is already on the edge of what the PS3 can handle (and would be made worse by supporting split screen). |

I believe Starhawk has a feature where you can log into another PSN account for split-screen... PS4 seems like it will head this way with controllers you can log in with.
I play with my boyfriend and we just pass the controller back and forth each game. I'd much rather have him log into his own account for a split-screen session, though I realize this is a lot to ask from such a "core" gamer focused company. Dust seems fairly complicated to write in code for this, though. Maybe if someone could log in for split screen to accrue points, but only the first player has the ability to customize stuff...
Borderlands also has split-screen online and it works fairly well, though it is instanced into 4 player games so it's probably easier as well for the developers. |

Warhawk, Starhawk, Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 all have the possibilty to play online with 2-4 people on the same screen.
Resistance 2 and Starhawk let the 2nd (3rd,4th) player login with theyr ps-network account so that any advancement is saved.
I would love if something like this could be done for Dust514. |

Well, porting it to Wii U and having multiple people play with the Gamepad is problematic. Unless things have changed, sending a signal to two Gamepad's will halve the framerate. 15FPS is unplayable. Not really going to work from a technical standpoint. |
