icy your a good dude so i am going to let you down softly here. Imperfects are lazy in pubs and hardly play as a team. Its rare that ccp matches us with anyone decent on the other team. In the end we basically are just farming redscrubbies like other good teams do.
A lot of us want to play skirmish more but trying to carry 12 scrubberries isn't worth it. So we end up in ambush farming, again.
This is makes us worse. Not to mention we haven't actually had a real practice since 2 weeks before the finals of the tourny. Nor have we done an actual Imperfect vs Imperfect scrim.
So no, we aren't going to break up we get along just fine (when we actually play dust). Lots of players hate having to grind everyday and simply aren't playing. I have hope for the weekly cap system so we can get back to be a functioning corp.
So thats the real imperfect effect, or the truth if you would.
Note: lots of imps are playing crysis 3 instead of dust (but its so bad that we look forward to working for ccp for 90 minutes a day to get sp) |

They're called the Imperfects because they have not yet achieved perfection, which is their ultimate goal.
Like the Borg, once they assimilate all the best, they'll really have nothing left to do.
It all makes sense now. IMPERFECTS when broken down spells I M PERFECTS.... coincidence?
Actually its just Imperfects, because we have a sense of humor about ourselves. Hell if you heard Mr. Zitro talk to me on coms you would think I was that zdog kid. |

They beat us. What I typed above has nothing to do with that though.
I was simply trying to tell you that 98% of the time what you see in pubs is just farming scrubs. Not any sort of teamwork/squad diversity/tatics that you stated in your OP. We make squads of who is avail at the time.
I think you are just trying to look to much into it. We have like 35 active Imperfects right now and are like .00001 of the dust merc population. We have no effect |

CLOSEDBETA TSTR-est E3 wrote:Tiel Syysch wrote:Icy Tiger wrote:you want competition, yet you have the competition join you This is probably the biggest misconception about us. It's not like we hold a gun to everyone's head (at least outside the game) and force them to join us. People are free to turn down an offer, as some have already. We only invite people who are friends or who we've enjoyed playing with in the past, though. If you're good but don't get along with us, you won't have to worry about getting asked. Lol wow its getting deep in here.I think I might need some waders. Is that why the Imps are trying to recruit the Team Players. They never played with you guys ever....Why you picked up Doug and Young Cuz..... Ps.Im not mad....... Im just calling you out on your Bull sh*t
Well as the main recruiter for known (exp/good) players for imperfects I have never spoken to or recruited teamplayers. I am not saying anything negative about them. I will even say Cubs is an elite level heavy, we simply dont have a need though.
So I have to call bullshit on that.
Doug we looked at after he had left a corp and was in npc corp. Youngcuz we had looked at since we picked up gslick/GodNova. We we were picking up deadpool youngcuz wanted to come too.
You would be suprised how many players contact us to join. We have approached very few that didn't tell us they were interested in joining first. |

I dont have the time to be that competitive as those in imperfects. Im also not in because they have all they need. I can do more for them in IMPSwarm then i could do for them in imperfects. I like what IMPSwarm will be doing so i will stay. Any more questions? When can we corp battle?
I have no problem having impswarm face UA in a corp battle or anyone else for that matter in time. We have some talent in here but its all about getting used to each other, training, communicating.
Banter won't get you are crop battle any faster

He was running around advanced armour and kit, then when he died twice he seemingly decided dieing was too expensive and started sniping.
To give him his due he was an excellent sniper, I think he finished at the top of his team 24/2 I think. That being said his side did lose. I can't help but feel he might have actually won the battle if he himself had gotten stuck in and not been so worried about his K/D ratio. A lot of the 'elite' corporations in Eve or Dust look for high K/D ratios, and if you somehow don't look good wit hem, you're worthless, despite circumstances behind it. Just look at Eve online and the current stagnancy of nullsec. Most of those alliances are too afraid of losing their ratios to get into good fights. Gunner Nightingale wrote:Icy Tiger wrote:Don't worry, this is not a complaining, or whining, or QQ-ing thing, and for sure it's not a compliment. It's just an observation and some info. The Imperfects is one of the best corps out there. That is a known fact. However, there are certain reasons why. Imperfects have people specialized into every role. They know their strengths and weaknesses. And each of their players is above average (except for some, mentioning them would be mean ). This creates the Imperfect effect. It's been called by other names in others games, like MAG, or Killzone, or Battlefield, or EvE, and Halo as well. Basically, the Imperfects affect the balance of the game as they are. A compact, compressed, collection of some of the best players in the game. Usually when this happens, the major corp/clan is hated, and admired, and more and more "noobs" start piling in, hoping to cash in on the fame. Individually, their best players have skill, even if they don't work as a team, they can still hold up. Personally, I think this is a negative thing, you want competition, yet you have the competition join you. If the "talent" was spread around, more competitive games could be played, better pub matches and overall corps. But don't worry, the players are learning. Quickly, other corps will rise. And then, sooner or later, it will all fall apart. Wishful thinking? Why does it have to fall apart. Why can't it keep expanding forever and ever. Sure some want competition but hey complete and utter control and dominance does have a nice ring to it too. Edit-- Not everyone good is asked to join and ALL come of their own choosing. If those players felt they could do well in their previous corps and had a purpose and a vision maybe they wouldn't leave in the first place as some have not already. Just saying perhaps its best to build your own brand than try to somehow take pot shots at ours Yes, and if you keep it together, you get the current snorefest that is eve nullsec ATM. To be honest. My eve main is in corp in eve considered to be some of the best. In fact my main is a top rated toon on battle clinic and I get 200 plus kills a month and rarely lose a ship. We take fights we really should never win, because they are good fights. 0.0 has never and will never be the peak of pvp, they're not concerned about k/d ratios they are just concerned about winning, often not cos ships cost money, but because losing in Eve means they lose something meamingful... income mainly. If you poke an alliance in null sec over a tech or Neo moon, they will come to defend it. If you just roam up to 0.0 and offer no long term threat, they will not bother with you as you can not hurt their cash flows. You can hardly say that PL are scared of a fight, yes they "blob" like the best of them, but numbers in eve count more than tactics.
QFT.
I spend most of my time in WH life because of this. Just like in EvE there are many many cryhards in dust.

If I wanted too really push this I'd make a thread, but I'll somewhat respect the imperfects silence on the matter and just pick threads to harass you guys in ;) Love how talkative you guys are until that spot light dims. :)
I am sad we dont have 6 threads on the front page about us. Not much to do when you hit your sp cap and everyone logs off dust |
