I don't run militia anymore, sometimes I don't do very well, and when my suit goes down, its 50k....but its not that much considering the benefit of non militia items....Skill your toon up and the ISK will flow in. |

yes, balance the isk, i agree. thats why i only run the A series suit, helped me save my 29 million... die less and earn more wp, and then you'll save a little more isk. why wait for the next build? |

I must be doing something wrong, because I'm sitting on about 53 mil ISK. And this is on just 2-3 hours of play a day. Only things I buy (sometimes) are GEK-38. I still running around in my Enforcer fit w/ all militia mods and equipment. |

My dropships have already gotten well over 300,000 ISK. Pretty expensive role in Dust but definitely fun. I have stopped using them in public matches as frequently as I have been, too many randoms not knowing what they are doing. But for corp battles it's great.
Also don't think vehicles are worth their cost yet since winning or losing doesn't mean too much. When winning and losing becomes a matter of controlling a district or not then vehicles will instantly be well worth their cost. |

@OP: Play in a premade squad. Seriously, you income should skyrocket. Since I started doing so, I almost always get to the top five of the leaderboard with a low count of kills and deaths (I'm a Logi, mind you).
If your leader places a defend order on one of you, and you all stay together as a squad for the entire match, you all will get more WP, more assists, and most likely fewer deaths. Thus, it'll increase your ISK payment and decrease your financial losses - greater profit. Tanks aren't really an exception from that, but still, don't use what you can't afford to lose. At least not every match.

Seems right to me. However, you're missing on the better or different equipment, modules, and dropsuits, thus not really increasing your chances of survival. I would definitely suggest going to standard gear; granted, you have more than enough money for that. |

Expensive? We get more isk per match this build than ever before. Maybe you should stop using so much high level gear in pub matches. |

Not using good things are not the answer. Simply limit your deaths to twice or three times a match. I have 25 million isk with this philosophy. |

I personally use BPOs in pub matches; I do well enough with them so I don't feel the need to spend ISK to get a slight upgrade. Having the Toxin, Exile and Raven Type-I doesn't hurt either...
I have ~16mil ISK sitting in my wallet right now; I give to my corp when I feel I need to, and give to poor or new corp-mates who need it more than me. I don't need all of it, even if I were running my good stuff.
Unless you need to use your best equipment, use lesser stuff to build up an ISK reserve (not necessarily militia, but a mix of militia and standard works well enough IMO). And if you're a (good) vehicle driver in a corp, maybe ask some people to help you out when you do well with your vehicle (you have to be playing in a group too) since they are so expensive, but also very useful to everyone (when used properly), but don't beg lol. If one of my drivers needed some ISK to fund vehicles I would give some since they are a great asset to my team. However, if you're not a driver, don't ask unless you are that desperate; militia and standard equipment does not cost a lot and downgrading is always an option.
EDIT: And lol lil...not everyone is as good as you are... |

Honestly I'm spending every single isk I get to build a stock pile. I believe once the market gets linked together all the prices will skyrocket or items might be unavailable. Someone somewhere will try their best to crash/manipulate the market and I hope to ride the waves.
As a back up to a stable market im going to use them for trade or donate to my corp if needed.
P.S. One day we will have isk transfers from eve so honestly why save it?

I hate to break some of your perception but this is peanut shells in cost.
Projected planetary invasion costs right now is around 10-30 billion for an entire planet for starters.
See those big flying ships on some game mode? One day you will need to bring one of your own to a fight to deal the enemies. See some of those buildings you're fighting though? you'll have to pay for ones you need if the one you take over isnt to your liking. List goes on and it all starts to get very very very expensive. |

At that point, though, we'll have EVE pilots to back us up. They will be hiring us, funding our conquests in their names. And if we don't have them backing us, we won't be there to aid them.
For now, all we can do is compare things as they are; ISK is worth far more to us than it is to capsuleers. Eventually...the value will most likely even out. But for now, we see things very differently. |

I conserve ISK by playing with a squad. Me and 3 other subdredditers played a skirmish game, and I went 9/1 as a logi with 2k WP. A good team will always always always stop you from losing your hard earned ISKies
