Greetings,
The Logistics Type-II dropsuit seems to be a downgrade from the Logistics Type-I or the stats are lists incorrectly becuase the Type-II has fewer slots. It has 2 Equipment slots while the Type-I has 3.

It's not a bug. If you read the description on Type-II you'll see that it's meant for mobility and endurance. So at the cost of an equipment slot you get more stamina and longer sprint. |

Still, the type II logi is bad. Is just as fast as an assault, have the same stamina and less armor.
It doesent really feel like an ugrade, its like a type I assault with bad armor that exchanged the sidearm for an equipment slot.
It needs more shields, not as much as a type II assault but more than a type I. |

Compare stamina recharge. I'm not in game right now but I use the Logistics Type II for my starting suit to drop uplinks and hack and can run almost the whole time and the stamina recharges crazy fast. |

A militia scout suit can do the same with 0 skills. If you want the second equipment the type 2 scout have it. If you only need 1 slot for the uplink but you want more hp the assault type 2 is better. |

Logi Type-II can compete with Scout Type-II for equipment and mobility. Which has more tank?
Assault Type-II is irrelevant if we're talking about carrying two equipment.
There is some overlap in capabilities. All that means is that if all my skills are in the logistics drop suit I have options. I have zero skills in the other suits because I've focused on logistics. Sure, a scout can do the same role at the opening of a battle. Nice to have a footrace against them to get the first hack.
At one point the logistics had a hacking bonus. Wonder if that is still there. |

Marketing, marketing, marketing.
The Type-II is bad so you will want the next version which will cost more SP, ISK or AUR.
This is normal pricing strategy in the Market. You will find there is some gain in the next tier version but it comes at a cost. Typical CCP thinking it appears to me.
Look around and it is a constant pattern with mid level tier items, not just Dropsuits. AUR will enable buying the next level tier item, sometimes even two. In particular if the next level is as you describe.
Do not plan, anticipate, wait for nor hope for a fix. |

the point is to give a player focusing into logistic some options.
the regular logi is meant to be true support. the regular suit is perfect to support a heavy with repairs, ammo, revives and the speed matches perfectly to the heavies speed.
the type II is meant to be able to keep up with the assaults and be more active in combat by himself. |
